THE NEIGHBOURHOOD Looking for dinner close by tonight? There are dozens of great restaurants and bars along Main Street, but Season’s in the Park is one of our favourites (Queen Elizabeth Park). We also recommend Chaise (between 28th and 29th), Sula Indian Restaurant (Main and 26th) for wonderful Indian food, Sushi Hub (Main and 33rd) is for sushi take out, and Nammos Estiatorio (Fraser and 24th) has really authentic Greek food. The nearest grocery store is Nesters Market, on Main Street between 28th and 29th; the BC Liquor Store is right next to Nesters. If you are looking for coffee or a delicious snack, we highly recommend Breka and it’s open 24 hours.
CITY OF VANCOUVER REGULATIONS The City of Vancouver has banned anyone from renting their properties on short-term booking sites, unless it is their principal residence. As such, there will be a huge reduction in the number of properties available for rent. Fortunately, this is our principal residence and we will only rent it out for less than 50% of the year, so we are approved with the City. Our short-term rental license number is 24-199038.

Our families (4 adults, 4 kids) really enjoyed our stay. Standouts were the location, the spacious layout (bedrooms and bathrooms for all), the communal areas, and the hot tub. It was a great home base.
Check in was smooth. Host was very responsive!Place was clean, location was awesome. It’s so central to where we wanted to go. Lots of restaurants, cafes nearby. Would absolutely stay there again.
We highly recommend this property and would stay here again! Everything was as described in the listing and Brad was a very responsive host. Great location, comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out. The hot tub was a fun way to unwind after busy days of sightseeing. You won’t regret booking this property!
Just outstanding across the board. Awesome location with great food, coffee and drinks right around the corner. Backyard with pool and hot tub were amazing, especially after a long walk around the city and the theater room is a ton of fun. Comfortable space across the board and Brad, the owner, was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Could not be happier! Thank you!
Great Amenities, excellent host, walking distance to shops and restaurants
The house was great and Brad the host was super friendly and responsive. They have a workout room, jacuzzi, pool and theater room. The neighborhood has several stores and restaurants within walking distance and its close to downtown and the airport. Only niggle is more blankets and a K-Cup or coffee stash, cooking spices, and maybe a host basket to get you started. Highly recommend.

Thank you James for the kind review and for leaving the house in such good shape. I'll provide better instructions on where to find the three blankets and spices. I'll also look into adding some coffee for our guests. Really appreciate all your suggestions.
We were 5 people, 2 couples and a single in town to run the Vancouver marathon and half marathon. The place is huge and was more than enough for our group while supplying ample diversions like the pool, hot tub, fire pit Nd wonderful backyard for hanging out. The owner was gracious and communicative letting us store bags early on check in day and suggesting places to eat. It is close to bustling Main Street but yet far enough away from downtown that it was a peaceful retreat at night. I heartily recommend this spot for a trip to Vancouver.
The home and the owner Brad were both equally great, from booking to arriving at the property all questions were answered and great information about the house and the surrounding area was sent to us via email. The house and amenities are amazing, you will need nothing. After a great day touring Vancouver you can come back and enjoy the pool and hot tub. Will for sure stay there again on my next visit to Vancouver.
We had a lovely stay at this home, which offered a serene garden with hot tub and was located a short walk to a lot of restaurants, cafes and cute shops. Close enough to all the sites of Vancouver but a nice retreat after a busy day of activities. House had a ton of amenities to cook, entertain and feel relaxed. Plus enough space so our group of 6 did not feel on top of eachother. Lots of beds and baths were great. All in all a great stay!
We had a wonderful time staying at this house just off Main Street! The beds (and sheets) were super comfortable - we all slept very well. We also appreciated the hot tub, big screen movie room and well equipped kitchen. The host replied to our questions promptly. Location was great as well-lots of restaurants and stores on bustling Main street neaby; easy to catch busses to other parts of the city; and very quick walk to Queen Elizabeth Park. We'll definitely stay here again.
Booked for a family stay for a our son's wedding - 7 in total - 4 adults and 3 young children. Brad was a wonderful host - very responsive and always helpful, including replacing a small appliance very quickly. Information provided in an email prior to arrival was very comprehensive and helpful. The home and property were outstanding. Beautiful lush backyard with both a hot tub and pool, which were enjoyed by adults and kids alike. Adults enjoyed early morning coffee and evenings by the firepit. Home was very comfortable and well equipped. Kids loved the toy kitchen, doll house and toys in chest the main room. Stores and restaurants within short walking distance. Heartily recommended!

Thanks Kathryn! Was a pleasure to host you and your family. Very happy that your kids had a good time in the pool and hot tub. Hopefully we can host you again down the road. Thanks again for staying with us.
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, fairly new and well-remodeled house in Vancouver. The house was comfortable and had a modern touch, making our stay enjoyable. We experienced a couple of minor hiccups on the first day, but the host was genuinely apologetic and resolved all the issues. Although the swimming pool was under construction during our stay, the host partially reimbursed us, which we appreciated.
Our kids absolutely loved the entertainment room, which featured a huge screen and an excellent speaker system. The hot tub and mature palm trees gave the property a Caribbean resort feel, making our vacation even more relaxing. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay
This is an outstanding property with beautiful mature garden and palm trees. Located just a short walk from the shops and restaraunts on Main Street. Home was well provisioned and spotless. Large king beds were very comfortable. Our kids really enjoyed the doll house, kids kitchen, hot tub, roasting marshmallows, playing video games, and watching movies on the projector screen.
This owner goes above and beyond and responds promptly to texts. There was no interaction with the owner so to maintain privacy, but he is always available in case of emergency or any queries.
We found our new place to stay when visiting Vancouver!
This property far exceeded any other house I have ever stayed at in Vancouver. The property itself is beautiful, inside and out. From the gorgeous landscaping to the high end interior, if I could rate this any other way, I would give it a 100/10 rather than 10/10. The hosts were amazing, kind and compassionate, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. Easy access to house, clear instructions/tips inside the house, beautiful backyard to relax in, air conditioning, impeccably clean, every possible kitchen gadget, lovely beds, big screen TV’s, big computer desk, a tanning bad, hot tub, spectacular bathrooms full of all the towels, soaps etc one could ask for…. I could go on and on. There is TRULY nothing that could have possibly made the house, the location or the hosts any better. Can’t thank them enough for providing such a wonderful place for others to call a home away from home!
Our stay at this house in Vancouver was a true delight. Nestled just off Main Street, this home welcomed us with open arms and exceeded every expectation.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the host, Brad, and the inviting atmosphere of the property. Stepping inside, we were immediately struck by the elegant yet cozy ambiance. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the house, ensuring a truly indulgent stay.
The outdoor haven, complete with a hot tub and fire pit, set the stage for relaxation under the stars. Indoors, the movie room with its 4K projector and impeccable sound system offered an amazing experience.
We were spoiled for choice with the well-equipped exercise room, while the plush bedrooms (with nice sheets) ensured a restful night's sleep for all. The luxury kitchen made meal preparation a breeze, and entertainment options were abundant.
Conveniently located near Main Street, this house combines comfort and convenience effortlessly. With impeccable hospitality and thoughtful amenities, our stay was nothing short of exceptional. We can't wait to return and experience the completed pool, knowing it will only enhance this excellent home.
We'll definitely be going back!
Location - excellent with lots of great restaurants, lovely grocery store, bakeries and pubs only a couple blocks away. We enjoyed taking several casual strolls around the neighbourhood. Ubers were only about a 5 minute wait and very well priced for further trips
The house itself is lovely and clean. Lots of room for everyone to have their own space
Bedrooms - all the beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. Each room besides the bunk room has its own AC which was wonderful and fan was provided in the bunk room. The rooms all have lots of sunlight with electric blinds
Kitchens - we used the kitchen on the second floor. It has a full size commercial fridge and freezer. There were several items in the fridge for our use such as mayo, mustard, jams, PB, non alcoholic beer, ginger ale, ground coffee etc. The coffee pot can be used as a drip or pods. There were several coffee pods in the cupboard too
We cooked quite a bit as there was everything we needed in the kitchen
Bathrooms - were nice and clean with lots of towels, hand towels and face clothes. A three in one shampoo, conditioner, body wash was provided in each bathroom. I liked the electric magnifying mirror in the master bedroom ensuite.
Outside in the backyard is beautiful. It’s even more beautiful than the pictures. The pool wasn’t operational yet so we turned the temp down in the hot tub and spent several hours relaxing in there. The fire pit is beautiful at night as well
Thanks for everything. We’ll be back!
