About this property

The house is only 80 meters from the fantastic sandy beach, surrounded by beautiful nature and protected forest. The water is very shallow, and the long jetty forms a shortcut to the slightly deeper water.

There is no traffic noise here, only the sound of birds chirping and the roar of the sea.

The Solrød center has restaurants and shops and everything you need. The house is spacious, cosy, well maintained and clean. Copenhagen city center is only 25 minutes away.

The atmosphere is homely coziness with direct access to a large garden, beach, forest and shopping within walking distance.

There are many fantastic trips you can take in the area and a little further afield. From magnificent nature experiences to amusement parks (for children).

The annex in the garden has its own entrance and is inhabited by a quiet lady. She doesnt use the garden.

Electric cars can be charged at the parking lot, which is only a 4-minute walk from the property. Provider: E-ON Drive

I grew up on a farm in the south of Denmark (Lolland) I lives in Copenhagen for in my 20 and 30ies and moved to Solrød when I had my 3 children.

I work for "Wonderful Copenhagen" which is a tourist organization promoting Copenhagen internationally.

Why they chose this property

It is close to Copenhagen where i work and has nature all around. Also shops and restaurants are near by.

What makes this property unique

The atmosphere of the house and the beach.
The house was build in 1936 when the area was quite desolated. There were mainly summer houses in Solrød and was mainly visited by Copenhageners enjoying the beautiful beach. Today many of the old traditional Danish summerhouses have been demolished in the area. But our house remains and has been renovated with respect for the original style.
