Our stay was pleasantly memorable. The location below a charming resort was convenient and loads of fun. We walked up to the Eagle and the Owl for an excellent dining experience. The spacious restaurant has a full size pool table, and other table games. There's an outdoor firepit with plenty of seating. The Chateau's bedrooms are thoughtfully decorated. The beds were quite comfortable. We greatly enjoyed the picture window view in the Master bedroom. It overlooks a peaceful pond on the golf course. The kitchen is fully equipped. This morning I enjoyed my tea on the front veranda, sitting on a wrought iron cafe chair. The cool mountain air and splendid view was a perfect farewell ending.

Perfect stay as always!

Family vacation

Quick trip to tour the battlefield of Gettysburg. This house was exactly what we needed, plenty of room, well appointed kitchen and nice sun room.

Perfect place for skiing at Liberty!

We really enjoyed staying here. It was 2 families (4 adults and 3 kids) and we never felt crowded. Not to mention how convenient it was to get to Liberty from the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Super close to Liberty and walkable (if you're very careful; main road is busy and sidewalk is on other side of it from house). Comfortable, clean, with plenty of room. Mattresses were not old, soft, and saggy, which alone deserves 5 stars! Host was a great communicator and was very understanding when we needed a little more time to get out on our check-out day because we had a bunch of snow and ice the day before. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely home

Very beautiful home and great location next to Liberty. My family enjoyed the fire pit and beautiful scenery. The house was clean and comfortable. The decor was lovely.

Nice small town setting close to Gettysburg

We stayed here while exploring Gettysburg. It was a short drive to Gettysbury but away from the tourist section. Nice sunroom and pictures of property were accurate. There was a nice local restaurant in walking distance. I would not hesitate to stay here if I returned to the area.

Wonderful home at the base of Liberty

We had a great time at the house. Check in instructions were very detailed and very helpful in planning for our trip. Kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. Ideal location for a winter ski trip or a summer golf outing.

Wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as described and our family had a wonderful time in Gettysburg, the area is beautiful as well. We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back someday to try the golf course. Thank you so much!
