Custom built in the 1980s, the mountain house has charming details and intricate woodwork. With a grand foyer leading to all bedrooms on the second floor, the house includes a king bed with private bath, a large guest room with 2 twin beds, another guest bedroom with queen bed, a nursery with crib or twin bed, and large full bath to share. The first floor is perfect for entertaining with a fully stocked eat-in kitchen and formal dining room with French doors which open to a solarium and wrap-around deck. The family room has a wood stove fireplace, piano, and entertainment center with WIFI.
Surrounded by woods and set on 5 acres, the mountain house is private and quiet. Explore the bubbling brook behind the back yard or try a hike up the power lines; this is a great country setting for a vacation, reunion, or family stay away from home. Our family has cherished holidays and vacations in this home for almost 40 years, and we are pleased to share it with you.
Please note: A property caretaker lives in the basement apartment with separate entrance- please be respectful of noise and privacy.
