The apartment was lovely. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything needed, bathroom was perfect, living area was very comfortable and the convenience of a washer and dryer was wonderful since we were traveling for a few days before our arrival. Our hostess was very welcoming and told us about the area. She invited us to enjoy the dock at the water side and to ring the school bell on our way down.

We started the Bear Ridge Guest House resort in 2021 and have enjoyed meeting people from all over the country as well as international guests. We are proud to say that in the 24 years we have been in business, we have never received a bad review. We have many legacy guests who return year after year- one group has stayed with us on the same dates in the same suite for the past 22 years!

Why they chose this property

Bear Ridge is extremely peaceful, safe and relaxing with gentle breezes from Rainy Lake. Our small resort sits on 3 acres of lake frontage with numerous old growth White and Norway pines. We have several docks, allowing ample opportunity to access the water and are located near several restaurants- one within walking distance.
