About this property

Guest Suite for up to 2 in a Victorian on the Chester River

Our lovingly-restored Millington Manor is the original home of the local doctor, built in 1868. Our small town has a liquor store and grocery.
We are a 15-minute ride to Chestertown, home of Washington College and host to wonderful restaurants, lovely shops, galleries and more!
The space
Your suite will be clean and ready for your arrival with everything you need for a comfortable stay. WIFI is included and information on the area will be in your room. Fresh ice, water, coffee, tea and snacks will also be provided. You will also have access to a lounge, which is a comfortable place to read a book, have a conversation or watch TV.
Guest access
You have your bedroom and bathroom to yourself. The lounge is shared. Please note, the bedroom suite is on the second floor. Access is by stairs.
During your stay
Someone will be available in person or by phone or text to answer any questions you have about the house or area. Your separate entrance opens digitally and is changed with each new occupant, so you will be able to come and go independently.
We include a few snacks, water and self-service breakfast items plus coffee, tea, etc. Unlike a B and B, this is self-service and you may even use the microwave to heat things. There is also a small refrigerator in the suite. If you need something that is not provided in the list, please ask. We will do whatever we can, within reason, to accommodate.

We also loved being close to the Chester River, with such easy access to launch and dock our canoe. Finally, we also enjoyed visiting and dining in nearby Chestertown.

Wonderful property. Extremely clean and comfortable. Everything was seamless, except for losing our key, which was of course 100% our fault, but Teddi was very kind about the situation. Property was lovely, including the sitting room.

Excellent Stay in Millington!

The apartment is charming, very clean and tastefully decorated. Pus the en suite private bathroom, which must be new, is beautiful. The owner also included thoughtful touches, such as coffee and tea. Check-in was straightforward and the owner is super responsive. We'll be back. We had a wonderful stay.

The property was delightful - well appointed with all items needed and some extra for an overnight stay. The manager was responsive to issues with access to the property and resolved quickly. She also shipped us a shirt we left behind! Would highly recommend this property.

Rented this sweet spot for my daughter and her boyfriend who were yraveling through from Maine to Florida. Teddi was so awesome in having everythjng ready for them and always answered my question promtly. Shes a very sweet person! Kinda jealous that I wasnt the one staying but my daughter said it is so beautiful and perfect! She said they slept so good they didnt want to leave. I know where I will stay when Im up there! Thank you again Teddi!

This is my favorite Vrbo and my home away from home. Teddi’s place is sparkling clean, well appointed and beautiful! Teddi is warm, welcoming, communicative and gives privacy. Great snacks, keurig coffee with creamer, cold water in the fridge with ice too!! I highly recommend Teddi’s place whenever you are in the area!!
