This spacious 7,000s/f property welcomes you with plenty of room to enjoy a relaxing water-front vacation only minutes from the heart of Downtown Coeur d'Alene. Create memories in the water and playing ping pong, pool, foosball, pickle ball, volleyball and so much more.

Enjoy the well-stocked gourmet kitchen and dining area- perfect for a chef dinner! Upstairs is a pool table and foosball table with yet another fabulous area to relax and create memories with your family.

There is an oversized deck overlooking your private beach and mountain views. Outdoor dining and lounge area as well as a hot tub are calling you outside. Enjoy the dock, the fire-pit on your private beach.

Guests trusting us for their luxury travel to Coeur d'Alene learn that the unexpected is our standard. The Timber River Lodge is our primary residence - contrary to an industry filled of those contrived, and sparsely appointed investment rental properties. COVID-19 Enhanced Safety/Cleaning: In addition to our already rigorous cleaning procedures, we have implemented a robust checklist using CDC/VRMA disinfecting protocols, noting increased attention to heavily trafficked areas and high touched surfaces.

At the Timber River Lodge, you will enjoy 200+feet of water frontage, private dock, breathtaking setting and views, hot tub, 1 acre of lawn to water, sandy beach area, 5 flat, forested acres, pickle ball, volley ball, croquet, fruit orchard, garden, 3 decks, barbecue, fishing, oversized 2-car garage prepared with ping pong, gutter ball, basketball, commercial ice maker and a commercial soda machine.

Indoor - Pool table, foosball, ping pong, table games, fully appointed, oversized gourmet kitchen with all amenities including warming drawer, commercial ice maker, double oven, and so much more.

Real brass fireman's pole for easy access to kitchen from upstairs! 3 large deck areas, 38-foot great room ceilings, open floor plan connecting kitchen, dining room, living room, and upstairs pool table and game room, 7 foot Steinway piano, flat screen TV, surround sound...all waiting for you and your family to enjoy together.

According to my adult kids, this is one of the BEST places we have ever stayed in the past 20 years we have been renting from VRBO. Describing it as amazing is such an understatement. This property is gorgeous both inside the house and its surrounding area (right on the river). It is truly one of the most luxurious places we have stayed. And the owner is very generous with basic items we need (soap, shampoo, paper towels, bath towels, beach towels, etc). And the activities it provides (canoes, volleyball court, trampoline, basketball court, pickleball court, pool table, ping pong table, golf frisbee, croquet, etc.) made our kids never to want to leave the house. The kitchen is fully stocked and the three types of coffee machines WITH available types of coffees, were a ridiculous surprise. We hope to be back every summer to stay here. I can’t imagine any other place coming close to how awesome this property is. And the owners are professional and very easy to work with. Don’t even bother looking elsewhere as you will not find a better property.

Great spot for a family gathering

There were 13 in our party -- ranging 9 to 80. There was plenty to do for all of us. We rented a boat from the host (David) and spent a great deal of time on it, but we also made use of all the other amenities/activities/games. Never bored and plenty of space for us to get a little quiet time away from the group when needed.

Absolute Paradise

Our 2 families, with 5 kids total, had the most amazing week in David's home. He went above and beyond to make our stay fun, comfortable and relaxing. The kids were not bored for 1 minute the entire week which was priceless. The property is stunning and the location is perfect, just a short drive or boat ride from town. We've been to some beautiful places, but this one quickly moved to the top of our list. We can't wait to return!

Perfect Vacation!

Every year we take a trip with our forever friends and their families. This year was our first trip to Idaho and it did not disappoint! David’s home in Post Falls is absolutely fabulous, it was the perfect spot for our group. The home has everything you could possibly need, including several indoor and outdoor activities. Kayak, paddle boards, boat, volleyball, trampoline, swing set, ping pong, pool table, foosball, basketball, pickle ball, etc.

Family getaway

We stayed at this beautiful home for a week with my wife’s siblings, their spouses and parents. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere on the Spokane River. Fishing from the dock was a big hit with this group, and plenty of small mouth bass were caught turning the week. There are a ton of activities set up by the host for families to enjoy, our group enjoyed the slower pace and beautiful setting as a base to explore Coeur D’Alene. Beds were comfortable, brand new linens and towels, kitchen well equipped. Biggest enjoyment for my wife and her sister was harvesting the fresh eggs from the chicken coop everyday. What a hoot. Host was gracious to bring in a new BBQ and smoker the second day after we discovered a problem with the existing BBQ. What great service! We made good use of both. Highly recommended.

All around perfection!!!

This vacation home is an oasis! The lakefront is breathtaking but then add the trampoline, playground, volleyball, disc golf etc. you never want to leave. David has thought of everything, bikes, soda machine, ice-machine (which came in handy when filling the provided ice chest for the boat), all the streaming platforms for movies, the list goes on... there is even fresh chick and duck eggs on property!! David had impeccable communication with us from start to finish, he was at our beck and call. David even put our family in touch with Chef Erin, which Erin cooked three-four-course FROM SCRATCH meals for us during our stay!! The kitchen was fully stocked with paper towels, paper goods for eating outside, cleaning supplies etc. The beds were comfy with clean linens and plenty of fluffy bath towels. There are TWO washer and dryers, one set on each floor, which came in handy while traveling for a week with children. We will definitely be back!

Amazing property for an amazing retreat

This was the perfect venue to celebrate my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary. There were 3 couples over 60 and 3 couples under 35 with two kids and a baby and it was PERFECT. There is a chicken coop with 8 chickens and a garden with fresh fruits and vegetables that we collected everyday. The kids adored the chickens! They are quite docile and produced the most delicious eggs. David's hospitality was unparalleled--he even brought us pastries and muffins one morning. David was always available to help us with anything we needed--he even helped us set up a private chef to come and cook for us in the home one night. The house itself is phenomenal. It has a rustic/cabin feel to it, but luxury all around. The kitchen was fantastic. Everything about our stay was amazing and this house was central to it all. We would return in a heart beat, but prices have gone up since our visit!!! Even still, we would love to return. I have no complaints and only praise for this amazing home.

Riverside Retreat: A Fourth of July Paradise!

Our family of 11 couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway this Fourth of July! This stunning house rental on the Spokane River was an absolute gem, catering to every age and interest in our group. The property itself was spacious and well-appointed, easily accommodating our large family without ever feeling cramped. But it was the outdoor amenities that truly set this place apart. The range of activities kept everyone entertained from dawn till dusk. We had intense volleyball matches, competitive pickleball games, and ping pong tournaments that brought out our family's playful rivalries. The frisbee golf course on the property was a delightful surprise, offering a fun challenge for both beginners and seasoned players. And let's not forget the gutterball setup – it quickly became a favorite evening pastime, with lots of laughter echoing across the river. Speaking of the river, the fishing was phenomenal! We caught an incredible 292 smallmouth bass right off the pier. It was a fisherman's dream come true and created lasting memories for both the avid anglers and novices in our group. The house's location right on the river provided breathtaking views and a sense of serenity, while still offering easy access to all the activities we could want. Watching the fireworks reflect off the water on the Fourth was truly magical. This rental wasn't just a house; it was the backdrop for a perfect family vacation.

Best VRBO stay ever

This house gets my strongest recommendation! Everything -- from location to communication to accommodations -- was our best VRBO experience ever! Our group of grandparents, parents, and teens/tweens was accommodated beautifully. The lakefront location (with a dock where you can tie up a rented boat) made for endless fun, and there are so many outdoor games and toys available. The hosts are so lovely and easy to work with -- perfect pre-trip communication, smooth and easy arrival and departure, and available for questions mid-trip. They made fresh produce/berries from their garden available to us and we ate fresh eggs from the chickens every morning! I've never rented a house that was more fully stocked -- especially the kitchen. Every tool, gadget, and appliance we had in our own homes is available. We're a family of semi-serious amateur cooks and loved the kitchen. The whole house is gorgeously appointed. The many beds are comfortable, the many bathrooms were sparkling, everything worked, from the laundry to the air conditioning. Sometimes when you rent a home, you feel like the owners are reluctantly hosting you - there are locked doors everywhere, no kitchen basics like olive oil or salt, and 2 extra rolls of toilet paper available. This is the exact opposite - you can use the closets and hang your clothes; the pantry is stocked with basics so you don't have to buy sugar or spices; and everything you need is right there. We would rent again in a heartbeat, thanks so much!

If you are looking for a home and location that will check all the boxes for a vacation look no further. We recently rented the property and had a wonderful family vacation at David’s riverfront home. From the time we inquired about the property until we checked out, David was a superb host. We can’t say enough about the awesome home and all of the high end amenities that will make your stay unforgettable. Likewise, the peaceful and park like setting offers an incredible view of the river as well as the opportunity to relax kayaking or canoeing. While staying here were able to disconnect from our daily lives and be in the moment with our family. We also didn’t feel the need to leave the property since there were so many activities to do there. If you are looking for a location that will check all the boxes for your next vacation look no further than this property.

Beautiful home, gracious hosts

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was in a beautiful setting...private but close enough to everything your need. David and his wife Lisa were warm and accommodating. They had paddle boards, kayaks and a canoe set out on the beach awaiting our arrival. It was definitely a family friendly experience and we hope to return to this property again.
