About this property

Casa do Poço - cozy house in a rural parish,a quiet space with sea views.

Casa do Poço is located in the heart of Santa Bárbara, a rural and traditional parish on Terceira Island. It was a project designed by us (João and Cláudia) and mostly carried out by João over 3 years, with a lot of effort and dedication. It was born from our love for travel, new experiences and gastronomy, and, above all, the desire to welcome people and provide a pleasant experience on this Island, which we love so much and which we already consider our home! We hope you enjoy this house as much as we had the pleasure of creating it, with a lot of commitment and attention to every detail! Enjoy the mix between traditional and modern and enjoy a late afternoon drink, accompanied by a sunset overlooking the magnificent São Jorge Island.

Casa do Poço overlooks the sea and the beautiful Serra de Santa Bárbara and has a terrace and a garden where you can rest and relax while enjoying the landscape. It also has facilities for barbecuing and outdoor dining. It is well located in the parish, with two bars, a restaurant and a supermarket nearby, which will make your stay more comfortable and pleasant. It is also close to a leisure area, ideal for walking or having a snack, and the nearest bathing area is located approximately 5 km away. Come and meet us!! We are delighted to welcome you and Nina welcomes all four-legged friends!

We are a couple from the Portuguese mainland, but we have lived on Terceira Island for more than two decades. Our 3-year-old son Vicente and our 4-legged friend, Nina, are also part of our family. We are all passionate about this Island and its natural beauty, which we have always been happy to show to everyone we have welcomed over the years. This Casa do Poço project was born from this desire to welcome and provide a pleasant experience for those who visit us.
We are delighted to welcome you and Nina welcomes all four-legged friends!
