LOCATION
The new Convention Center/Blagden Alley area radiates urban cool. You'll be just 5 blocks away from landmarks like the National Portrait Gallery and the National Museum of American Art. The White House and the National Gallery of Art on the National Mall are both an 11-block walk. If you are here for a concert or sporting event the Verizon Center is just 6 blocks away. You'll be able to run most errands on foot, not to mention walking to a variety of really wonderful and interesting restaurants and cafes (check out Kinship, The Dabney, All Purpose Pizza, La Colombe, Rogue 24, and Corduroy). There's also a Giant supermarket two blocks away if you'd prefer to eat at home in your peaceful space.
Do you like to shop? The CityCenter DC complex boasts a host of temptations, including Kate Spade, Allen Edmonds, Hugo Boss--and a Tumi store if you need additional luggage for new purchases! You'll also be walking distance from several popular downtown DC neighborhoods, including the lively Blagden Alley Historic area, Penn Quarter, DuPont Circle, 14th and U.
Blagden Alley residents embrace the historic roots of the neighborhood; the convenience of the new modern convention center and the Metro; and the chicness of this neighborhood.

The station contains two train lines (AMTRAK; and MARC trains to and from Maryland). Also accessible are the Metro's Red Line; Metrobuses; the "Circulator" Bus; tour operators; rental cars; and bikes.
