Burns is home to this cottage. Valley Golf Club in Hines and Harney Valley Big Ol' Flat are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Triangle City Park. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking nearby.
This VRBO accommodation is accurately described. Very nicely appointed and stocked. Nice linens and furnishings. The owner has been very thoughtful in preparing the Hideaway for the vacation rental market, and we thank her for her effort. WRT to finding the place, we found that Google was confused about the location. We were grateful for the precise instructions provided by the owner. Our advice: Follow those instructions and ignore your phone if you decide to enjoy this uncommon place.
One of our favorite places to stay. Quiet, very clean and very friendly.

The stay was very private, and cozy. The nights were so quiet and relaxing. Sunsets to die for. I would absolutely recommend this stay for anyone looking to stay in the area.
Just as advertised. Worked well for us - 3 adults and two small dogs. Quick to get into Burns and nice departure point for trips around Harney County for the Migratory Bird Festival. We were out dawn to after dark most days or popping in and out so didn’t need much space. Quick responses from Ann to any questions. Very specific directions to find it off Highway 20 - only time I missed the turn was when I was watching Pronghorns in a field just north of the turnoff.
Super cute and easy to find. I loved staying here while visiting the Steen Mountains. Fully stocked full size kitchen, bathroom, and lots of extras (blankets, crib, dog dish holder, coffee & creamer some dry foods and spices). It was great to be able to cook and eat healthy while traveling. My only complaint was the smell of the diffuser in the room. I am super sensitive to these so I just opened the windows and it cleared out. Loved having the space for my dog and the quiet. Bed was comfortable - could hear the highway a little but I slept thru it!) Would stay again!
Beautiful location. Peaceful and plenty of stars. Not too far from Crane Hot Springs. Host is awesome and has this place pretty well stocked. Clean and comfortable. Will visit again

Nothing bad to say about this place. It was amazing. Kind of strange going up to the door because of the where it’s at, but once we walked in, oh boy, we were blown away. Very nice place.
Enjoyed the cabin, watched an evening lightning/thunderstorm under a vast sky. Quiet, clean place which was stocked with essentials. Would stay here again! Our dog loved to roam. It suited a brief respite on our road trip.
This remote cabin is so refreshing! Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Ann is a fabulous hostess, and everything was perfect. When driving up to the home, one needs to remember that it is out in the country. A spectacular setting! The home was well stocked, cozy, and comfortable! Will definitely stay there again!
Our stay was very good. Everything was clean, well stocked with everything you could need. Only downfall...it was hard to find the driveway...we passed it three times. The faucet in the shower was extremely hard to turn.
This is a very nice place. It is very well equiped with everything you need. A great place for dogs with hundreds of acres to walk your pups. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely rent again!
After a long day of travel, this was a great stopping place. Pets are allowed without an additional charge. There was a dog park with an igloo for your pup if you wanted them to get a boit of safe air and a paddock for your horse. On the inside they had a washer, dryer, full kitchen, condiments, coffee, creamer and bathroom amenities. Couldn't ask for a better stopping point or a more responsive hostess. We would stay here a y time we were in the area!
Great place to break up the drive from western Oregon to Utah. Very well stocked, clean, easy to find. Great place to relax. We will be back! Thanks for sharing!
