Black Flamingo: Flamingo Park Walkable, Pet Friendly, Fenced In Yard

This quaint Flamingo Park bungalow is located in the middle of historic downtown West Palm Beach. With a large fenced-in grass backyard, excellent for children or animals, the home offers plenty of space to enjoy the South Florida weather. Spend your morning sipping coffee on the front porch, taking in the beautiful community, or get out and take a stroll on the tree-lined streets to enjoy local playgrounds, dog parks, and walkable restaurants, breweries and markets.
The space
This historic bungalow, built in 1948, is a fully equipped “Home Away From Home.” The entire house will sleep 6 people comfortably, with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a fully-stocked kitchen and washer/dryer for your convenience.

BEDROOMS:

Primary bedroom: The room comes furnished with a comfortable Queen size bed, 2 nightstands, a TV and a large walk-in closet.

Bedroom 2: This bedroom has a comfortable Queen size bed, 2 nightstands and a closet for storage.

Bedroom 3: This room can be used as an office or bedroom. The room includes a workspace and two twin beds.

BATHROOMS:

The house has 2 full bathrooms. They are fully stocked with towels and toiletries. The primary bathroom has a tub/shower combo and a lighted, defogging mirror. The second bathroom has a spacious shower.

LIVING ROOM:

One of the best features of the house is the cozy and tastefully-decorated living room area, which provides the perfect space to relax and reset. A Smart TV for your viewing pleasure will make you feel at ease in this "Boho Chic" inspired living area.

KITCHEN:

Enjoy cooking meals at “home” in the fully-stocked kitchen, complete with cookware, bakeware, utensils, glassware and flatware. Please note that this home does not have a dishwasher or ice maker.

LAUNDRY:

No need to take home dirty laundry! The house has its own full-size washer and dryer and is stocked with laundry detergent, along with an iron and ironing board. You will also find throw blankets and beach towels to use during your visit.

BACKYARD/PATIO:

Enjoy the large back patio, with a large retractable umbrella and table for outdoor dining during the day or night. The yard is FULLY FENCED in for your privacy and convenience and also the safety of your children and furry friends! You will find a gas grill, for an enjoyable outdoor cooking experience, as well as 2 backpack beach chairs, ready for your day on the shore.

Self Check-in is available at 3 pm. You will receive an entry code with your check-in info on the morning of your arrival.

Based upon availability, we offer early check-in at the following rates:
Up to two hours early: $50
Up to three hours early: $100

CLEANING FEES: We want to ensure that you experience our high standards of cleanliness throughout your stay! For stays of 9 nights and under, you will be charged only the standard cleaning fee in the listing for turnover upon your departure.

***For longer stays, we arrange mid-stay cleanings at a discounted rate, billed as a SEPARATE CHARGE in addition to your standard cleaning fee, which we'll request the day prior to your arrival.***

10-17 nights: one mid-stay cleaning - $130
18-24 nights: two mid-stay cleanings - $260
25-31 nights: three mid-stay cleanings - $390
32+ nights: $500/month

PET FEES: We're happy to welcome pets! All pets must be approved prior to check-in. Limit 1 pet per visit; additional on a case-by-case basis.

***Pet Fees will be charged at a rate of $200/pet for up to one month. Please note that platform limitations require that an additional pet or additional months be billed as a SEPARATE CHARGE, which we'll request the day prior to your arrival.***

Pets are required to be crated when you leave the home, and on a leash anytime they are outside the house/fenced in yard. As always, please be courteous and pick up after your pet, wipe their paws after being outside, and keep them off the furniture.

Unapproved pets, or pets not adhering to the guidelines above, will be subject to a $350 fee per pet, per month of stay.

DELAYED CHECK OUT: We want every guest to have a perfectly prepared home upon their arrival. This is why our 10:00am check out time is essential in giving our turnover team adequate time to prepare for the next guest. If a guest delays our ability to turn over the property, they will be subject to a late check out fee. At 10:30am, a $50 fee will be imposed, with an additional $50 fee every half hour after.

Absolutely no parties/events of any kind. Guests will receive a $500 fine for any unapproved event held on the property.

Absolutely no smoking on our property. This is a smoke-free home inside and out. Guests will be subject to a $500 fine if there has been any smoking.

Please note that we are upgrading our guest experience in 2024 by repainting the rear of the home as well as adding landscaping to the backyard. These updates will not interfere with your stay, but you may notice some projects that appear to be unfinished. Thank you for your understanding.
