About this property
Peaceful Country Guest Home
A beautiful peaceful country guest home located just 15 minutes north of Wichita. The house has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can sleep up to 6 adults. The house is located on a farm and is right next door to the homeowners so there is easy communication throughout the stay. The property is fully furnished and has WIFI and basic cable included in addition to a working washer/dryer, microwave, oven, and full size refrigerator.
We have farm animals that are often popular with our guests. Sheep, goats, donkeys and chickens in addition to our 2 labs. Feel free to feed them carrots, apples and other vegetable scraps! We also grow our own grapes that end up getting sold to Grace Hill Winery so if you are looking to purchase any wine, just let us know!
As for bedrooms, the main bedroom is located on the ground floor but the other 2 are located upstairs. We do not recommend small children (under 3 years old) to stay upstairs or adults that have trouble with stairs.
If you have any questions, just let us know. We hope you will come stay at our guest home!

Carolyn and Caleb were great hosts, super nice and easy to communicate with. Property was nice and quiet and had everything I needed. I definitely recommend it!
It's a beautiful property with a spacious home it didn't even feel like I was on vacation it felt like I was home. Definitely will stay again on my next visit
We needed a house rental close to family. The McGuinn family were very welcoming and friendly. We were able to help feed farm animals, view artwork and wine made from their farm grapes during our stay. This is a sweet, family friendly farmhouse we would love to visit again when in the area.
This is a classic Kansas farmhouse and working farm. Friendly donkeys, sheep and greedy goats. House is in great condition with several updates and very clean.
We stayed at the guest house while attending the Southwest grand trapshoot. The property is a short 15 min drive to the club. It was very nice to come back to the farm house to relax and to enjoy a little A/C and a great porch to watch the sunset.

Kansas Farmhouse
House was very clean with everything we needed supplied. Tons of room for kids to run around. Kitchen lighting definitely needs to be improved but that's the only negative I have.

Thank you for your comments and stay with us. We'll be sure to get some different lighting in the kitchen!
This house feels like home. The moment we drive up we knew the place was perfect. The grounds are perfectly manicured. The home is cozy and quiet. You can see the farm animals from the kitchen window which is a nice treat as you drink your coffee or wash dishes. The bed we slept in was comfortable and they had everything we might need available. We enjoyed long walks on the dirt road and saying hello to the donkeys and sheep. It was such a welcomed change of pace from our normal city life but close to anything we needed. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Family friendly farm!
We loved our stay! The owners were wonderful, accommodating and friendly! It was a quiet reprieve while visiting family in the area. My 5 year old great nephew loved it so much, he wants to have his next birthday party at his aunt's "house" (thinking that the farm house belonged to me). We will definitely stay again when we are in town.

Joe and family
Pleasant, clean, comfortable, and relaxing for my family. My three girls loved the chickens, the donkeys, and the baby birds that happened to be in a nest where they could visit them daily. Plenty of space for our family of five. Some nice family attractions nearby, including Cowtown, the Tallgrass Prairie, and Sedgwick County Zoo. The McGinns were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Quiet, Country Vacation
My two sisters and I stayed here for a week while we were doing some genealogy hunting in the Wichita area. We found this guest home to be quiet, clean, well-stocked, and in a good location close to Wichita and other towns. We loved the fact that we were in the country so it was very quiet and peaceful! The McGinns were super friendly and helpful and we appreciated our chats with Carolyn around the chickens and the donkeys! We would definitely stay here again!

Pleasant and Relaxing
We were very pleased with our vacation experience and the time we spend in your place.
Staying in your house allowed us to spend time and host a wonderful New Year's dinner for our family!
Everything was very clean, nicely decorated for the Holidays and if you forget something, they probably have it there.
The house is away from the noisy city and when you wake up you can hear the birds.
This place was welcoming and Relaxing!

Nice country home
If you are wanting the feel of the country yet close to all activities this is worth it. Very relaxing with country charm.
We are farmers and our family has lived on this property for over 100 years.
Why they chose this property
Our property is a great place if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city living or if you just want a peaceful stay ini the country on a working farm. Kids will enjoy the farm animals and sand pile to play in. Adults will enjoy the privacy and nice selection of wines! We are also only 15 minutes from Wichita if you are looking for amenities or other entertainment options.
