About this property

A Unique Pet Friendly Stay In Cape May

Please come and enjoy our two bedroom - one bathroom open concept with a living room, dining area and kitchen. Plenty of space for your pets to enjoy and there is a $100 per Pet fee. The washer and dryer are located just off the kitchen. A comfortable queen sized bed is in both bedrooms, as well as a queen sized sleeper couch. Central HVAC will keep you comfortable day and night. In the warmer season, the rear stairway takes you to the salt water above ground pool that you share with the owners. As you walk out the front entry on to the full sized enclosed deck, you can sit and relax while your puppies play in their one acre play yard. It is like no other pet friendly yard in all of Cape May. A gas grill is located underneath a large shade tree for your outdoor cooking enjoyment with outdoor dining set on the deck. We look forward to you coming and enjoying our unique Cape May property.

Such a lovely cottage in a nice quiet neighborhood. Mrs. Kelley was so accommodating and very friendly. The weather was not great but it didn’t matter because the home was such a cozy place to take shelter from the rain. The beds were so comfortable and we used the WiFi without a hitch. My daughters have autism and this was such a great place to decompress together as a family. I am looking forward to staying here again when the weather is warmer. Thank you Mrs.Kelley!

Always a pleasure to stay here. A home away from home, very comfortable, lovely beds ensure a good nights rest. All the ameneties, modern appliances, heat and A/C. Our stay at A Unique Pet Friendly Stay in Cape May was exactly what our family needed. We have been wanting to come to Cape May during the holidays...and it did not disappoint. Kelley, our host is the Hostess with the Mostess. She was a delight to chat with. Our amenities were cute and cozy (a HUGE plus that the place was decorated for Christmas). The back yard was the second HUGE plus...our pups LOVED it and I'm pretty sure they did not want to leave. We will DEFINITELY be coming back...and hopefully make it an annual event. Lovely Vacation Home

Overall this was a great property for a family of five, with a great outside area for family as well as dogs to play or relax however they choose. It also has a beautiful pool area to relax if that is more your speed. The host is very friendly as well as very helpful no matter what your family’s needs. I would definitely stay here again.

We could not have had a better time. Kelley is an excellent hostess/owner. We had absolutely everything we needed and the enormous fenced in back yard was stupendous for our dog. She thought she'd gone to heaven ! The description does not do the house justice. Definitely coming back.

A lovely midweek stay

Charming, quiet, pretty and spotless cabin with a pool and a huge lawn, just perfect to get a restful break while enjoying Cape May attractions and village activity with a free parking space in town! Kelley is the best and makes you feel welcome and comfortable.

Great Weekend in Cape May

We had a great weekend in Cape May staying at the Cabin's Sea Cabin. The owner, Kelley, is friendly and fantastic to work with. The accommodations are spacious, warm, very clean, nicely decorated, have comfy beds and welcoming to our pets. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

My husband and I had a great stay - the property was perfect for us and our pup! You can tell the owners take pride in the property - it’s clean and thoughtfully decorated. Cape May Stay

Great place. Even in November there are plenty of things to do in Cape May. The house was immaculately clean, and the yard is literally the size of a football field. We had a great time, and would highly recommend it to all.

Great for dog lovers!

Had a fabulous stay! Space was super clean and was well thought out for those with dogs! The beds were super comfy, and they had all the channels on their TV! The proximity to downtown was perfect, and the backyard space is absolutely perfect for furry friends! The pool area is separate from the fenced in area, so no need to worry about any pool issues with pets!

Our getaway

Let me start off by saying the host Kelley and her husband are awesome, wonderful and very caring people.They made my family feel like we were part of her family. The house was very clean and cozy and the yard was huge for our dog and even the kids to play ball. My family had a wonderful time staying. We will be back definitely.

I am from Phillipsburg, NJ but I met my wife, a Florida girl, while residing down there. A business opportunity brought us back to my hometown. I knew my wife missed the sunshine and sea air so I took her on an anniversary trip to Cape May in the middle of May many years ago. She fell in love with the area and we have faithfully returned ever since. About five years ago we decided to take our Frenchie with us on our vacations and I found the Captain's Sea Cabin online. When we arrived at the property my wife fell in love with it. She patiently pursued Capt. Frank and Betty with the possibility of owning it and now it is hers'. She is very excited to be the Florida girl who would rather live in Cape May, NJ. The legacy, of Capt. Frank and Betty, one of graciousness and hospitality is what we hope to be able to live up to. I am the president of Ferguson Containers in Phillipsburg, NJ and Kelley is the manager of the property. Our disabled daughter, Autumn , with her Shih Tzu, Odie, our PUG, Mei Mei, and our old cat, Patsy, are also residents at our Cape May home.

Why they chose this property

It is a short bicycle ride to the downtown shops and beach. It is a shorter drive to pet friendly Higbee Beach, Cape May winery and Cape May National golf course.

What makes this property unique

The beauty of this area captured our hearts so much that we had to have a home there to enjoy it more often than just a vacation. Please come and enjoy it with us.
