About this property
Hidden small house over Playa La Mina and stunning views of the Pacific Ocean
Sicarú La Mina is a small house with all comfort hidden in the subtropical forest in a 2 ha. private property, over one of the most beautiful beaches of Oaxaca: Playa la Mina (12 minutes walk). If you look for resourcing with nature, calm and isolation, this is the place. You can almost touch the stars at night!
On the other hand, we have a fully equipped kitchen, internet, AC, and a washing machine.
We have "superhost" status in Airbnb. We would love to have more Canadians staying with us! We also have special medium - long term rates.
No restaurant, no vendors at La Mina. The closest town, Puerto Angel, is just 5 minutes by car, with restaurants, pharmacies, stores and market, fresh fish to buy. You can go to the coolest beach in the Pacific, Zipolite, for a fancy meal, bar or a massage (20 minutes by car), visit the turtles museum in Mazunte (30 minutes), see the sunset in Punta Cometa. You can also hire a boat in Puerto Angel to watch whales during Winter season, or dolphins and turtles all year round.
Not for people with mobility issues (stairs to get to the house, path to the beach).
Rent a car at Huatulco international airport, and you are in Sicarú - La Mina in only 40 minutes!

We enjoyed our stay with our two young kids (ages 5 and 7). Vidal, the property manager was very helpful giving us ideas and tips for the area.
Playa La Mina was beautiful to look out on from the property. The house had everything we needed to be self sufficient and comfortable. For other families, I think it's best for children ages 4+ as there are some steep drop offs around the patio.
Enjoy a peaceful stay with a beautiful view. Bring you binoculars, you can watch birds and the chances to see dolphins and whales are high. The beach is a 10 min. walk. The home is well maintained and clean. We enjoyed are time at La Mina. Thank you very much!
