Stayed here for 2 nights to break up a road trip from MI to Florida. It was a perfect landing spot - close to all the Chattanooga fun. Large bedrooms and comfy beds.
My only reservation before staying again would be safety precautions. Although the door to the common area leading to the apartments had a code lock, we found it left unlocked by other residents several times. There’s a code lock into the unit as well, but the chain bolt was broken. I’d feel better if that was fixed. There are no window shades in the kitchen & laundry area, with neighboring houses close together, so no privacy in those rooms. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet.
There is no living room and no TV. Which was fine with us! The natural wood floor and historic charm made for a pleasant stay in a historic neighborhood.
The unit is no smoking, but there is a faint hint of cigarettes, probably from prior residents. It didn’t bother us, but sensitive travelers should be aware.
