Cabin includes - Jacuzzi Tub, Kitchenette, Propane Fireplace, View of our 3 & 1/2 acre Lake, Fishing available (bring your gear), Walking Trail, Shared Fire pit
If you are interested in a beautiful 200 year old farm this is the place for you. If you are interested in WiFi, this is not the place. The cabin is over 100 years old. (A tobacco barn relocated to our farm.)
There are two cabins, they are 100 ft. apart - So we offer plenty of privacy - Both cabins have a beautiful view of our 2 1/2 acre lake. We do ask our guest to let us know an approximate arrival time - there are two driveways. First, go past the large white farm house and the lake will be on the left hand side. Directly in front of you is an old red and white barn and drive behind the barn you will cross a bridge over the lake. At the end of the bridge turn left on to the covered bridge. Go slowly across the covered bridge we don't want anyone to hurt their car. Directly in front is the Grumpy Old Goat and Cheerful Chicken your name will be on the chalk board on the porch. The key will be in the front door.
Please do not leave the key in the cabin you can lock yourself out.

Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing! I loved everything about the cabin. It's conveniently located - it's not far from Greensboro, but secluded enough from the loud, city traffic.
This was amazing! I loved every minute of it. The hostess was super nice and allowed us to check in early and stay late. Everything was super clean. The bed was amazing! The pillows and the towels were out of this world!! We are already plan our next visit!
The property and owner were amazing. The farm was immaculately taken care of. We enjoyed walking around the different areas of the farm. Beautiful!!! If we have a wedding or such event, we would absolutely book the different available cabins/houses. Thank you for an amazing stay and unexpected upgrade.

Cabin On The Farm
We loved the cabin, grounds, and location and want to come back! However, upon arrival we encountered confusion with another guest regarding who rented the cabin the weekend we visited. The issue got graciously resolved; however, the cabin needed a thorough cleaning that did not happen for us during our stay. Unaddressed issues had been: used coffee cups, unclean wet countertop, VERY unsanitary bathroom, dirty tub, two dirty towels, soiled floor mats, and dirty bathroom sink. Hence, we did our own cleaning. Despite that, we enjoyed the rustic cabin and its comfortable furniture, and we loved the nearby pond, covered bridge, pasture with cows, and roaming peacocks. We want to come back but under better conditions.
*DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BOOK HERE.*
I booked this VRBO in August and paid in full at the time of booking. I did Instant Booking and messaged briefly back and forth with Teri. I saw the note in the Virtual Key to let the host know when we were arriving, so I messaged Teri the day of with our travel plans.
2 hours before we were leaving, Teri let us know that she didn't know how we were able to book & that the house wasn't available. She never responded to my follow-up messages nor would she take my calls or texts to the point that she turned her phone off. When I reached out to VRBO customer service, they also attempted to reach her with no avail.
I have *never* experienced customer service like this before. We ended up with no place to stay and did not receive any communication about what happened from the host other than "So sorry" before she went dark on responding.
Do not book here. Teri is an untrustworthy host.
Awesome stay. I enjoyed it very much. Very secluded and private location. Host was amazing. I will return for another visit. If you're looking for a charming romantic place to stay with your significant other this is your place. 5 stars all day long.
