The closest convenience store is also approximately 6 miles away for beer, wine, ice, bait, fishing supplies, etc. Fishville Trading Post is the nearest restaurant and is 14 miles from Sunset Bay. A larger assortment of restaurants, bars, shopping, etc are found in Port Lavaca and Palacios (15 miles). Seadrift, Rockport, Port O’connor and Victoria are all within about 1 hr.
