Perched high on the Kalapaki cliffs overlooking gorgeous Kalapaki Bay this home serves as the perfect home base to explore the entire island on your unforgettable Kauai vacation. Fall asleep and awake to the relaxing ocean waves nightly at our home perched over the stunning Kalapaki Beach. This home provides sensational views of not only the beach but the rugged mountain terrain and the harbor.

This double gated 5 bedroom 4 bathroom two story penthouse perched on the cliff overlooking Kalapaki Beach can sleep 12 comfortably and up to 14. Four bedrooms occupy the top floor three with with their own in-suite bathroom, flat screen TV and king (2) & queen (1)size beds. A bunk room with 2 full size on bottom & twins on top is an excellent space for kids and teens which can sleep up to 6. The bottom floor has an additional bedroom (k) with a full bath next-door which also serves as the powder bath. The kitchen is appointed with Subzero and a Viking oven and dual fuel range (6 burners and a griddle). The over sized bar has a sink, Keurig, drip coffee and wine fridge and bar seating. Please note the ice maker is intentionally disabled per condo rules in both the freezer and the ice maker. You will need to buy ice. The home has a formal living room and family room along with indoor dining and outdoor dining. The entire house has A/C in all rooms except laundry & bunk and excellent trade winds with louvered windows to enjoy the sounds the beach below and cooling salty winds.

Kalapaki Beach homes enjoy ample parking, gated neighborhood and an elevator at the end of the street whisking you down a few stories to the board walk where you can enjoy a morning walk, beach or numerous dining and water sports. The famous Duke's restaurant as well as many others are within a 5 minute stroll. The airport is 5 minutes away. Timbers resort is a lovely scenic 5 minute stroll along the many beachside walking paths.

New photos will be updated new paint upstairs, new bedding and decor. Downstairs there is a brand new bedroom set, family room furniture and patio furniture on both lanai’s including an outside patio dining table.

Stay was wonderful. The location is very convenient to the hotel next door where I was attending a conference. The coffee maker died and Sarah dropped us off a new one same day. It’s expensive, but the level of finish and the convenience to the airport, the beach, and the size for a large group is really special. We’ll look forward to staying here when we’re next in Kauai.

Don't hesitate on this gorgeous home! Very well appointed in every room. Sarah's consideration for her guests is evident everywhere--especially the kitchen which has everything--both kinds of coffee makers, ice machine, air fryer, etc etc etc. Very short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. More than enough linen and towels. Living room area is huge and very comfy--opens to a beautiful balcony area. Sarah was very responsive and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

Excellent location, view, and nicely appointed rental. Sarah was very responsive and made our stay very nice, especially for two kiddos. Beach chairs, snorkeling gear, and beach towels were plentiful. All of the bedrooms were very well appointed, and the main bedroom suite is beautiful. Parking was easy for three vehicles or more. Would absolutely stay here again. Plenty of room to spread out for a large group.

This home was incredible! Sarah, the Host, was so helpful and kind. She made the stay even better! The home was perfect for a large family vacation. Lots of beach items and towels available. The Primary suite was just stunning. Actually “stunning” is a great descriptive word for the entire home. We would choose this home again in a heartbeat!!

Got together with family and significant others and stayed at the Kalapaki property and it was fabulous! The pictures were nice but it doesn't do it justice when compared to seeing it in person. The view is awesome and the main deck is huge with plenty of room for all to enjoy. The master bedroom deck is also great to spend quiet time after a long day. The interior is spacious with plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen/bar areas are fully stocked with utensils and appliances galore....we were spoiled with Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer, wine cooler, two coffee makers, blenders, glasses, plates, pots and pans to serve an army. The 3 bedrooms upstairs have their own bathroom and there is a bunk bed combo room for kids. There is also a bedroom downstairs with a bathroom right outside the door for guest use. The entry way is gated and there are water sports equipment, water shoes, chairs, and ice chests available for outings. I have to say that this property has everything you need to enjoy your stay and is centrally located in Lihue and you can get anywhere in town within 10-15 minutes max. Couldn't ask for anything more and we had a great time!

Kalapaki Beautiful View

This was absolutely amazing home to stay in, especially with extended families!! So much room for everyone you’ll never be crowded. We had 11 people. It has an amazing view on two balconies. Bathrooms in almost every room and plentiful hot water. The home was well stocked with everything that you could possibly need in the kitchen and that stove grill was amazing. There’s also a BBQ, which we also used. The location is excellent as it’s close to the airport and shopping and midway on the island, very convenient if you need to go north or south. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

Beautiful house, well appointed

Great location, easily walkable to the beach and restaurants. By far, the best kitchen ever seen in a VRBO. Plenty of beach chairs and toys. A concern is there is only one communal bathroom not associated with a bedroom so if you have the bunkroom full and anyone on a couch, there are a lot of people using one bathroom. Comfort would be improved drastically (!!!) for the bunkroom by the addition of a portable air conditioner as there are no windows in that converted closet. It was beautiful to wake up to the ocean everyday. Would highly recommend overall.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL PLACE & VIEWS!!

The house was beautiful and perfectly laid out for our 9 family members! There was plenty of living and sleeping space throughout the home to give each person privacy and also shared time! The views from the two decks were AMAZING!! The kitchen was awesome and making meal preparation and service a breeze! As an early riser, I loved being out on the deck with coffee and watching the sunrise without being blinded by it! The beds were very comfortable and the AC made it comfortable for everyone. The bunk room was without AC but using the fan and leaving other bedroom doors opened at night kept it cooler. It was fabulous having all of the beach equipment available to us on-site! Sarah, the property manager was amazing and very responsive to our questions and needs prior to and throughout the trip! Awesome lady!! One thing that we would recommend is a "Welcome Book" with guidance on the home and the surrounding area. We figured things out but that would be terrific addition. We would definitely go back to Kauai and stay at this lovely home!! Thank you for everything!!
