Among the Oaks: Newly built Luxury home, game room

Come and stay 'Among the Oaks' at this stunning new home just off the Seneca Lake Wine trail. Completed in 2024, this home is brand new and set on a wooded lot close to the lake.

The setting is quiet and restful here in the trees. The house is just a stones throw from the Seneca wine trail and only a 15 minute drive from Watkins Glen and Geneva giving you the quiet rest you need while being an easy distance to wineries, breweries, and restaurants. You'll likely get a visit or two from our deer friends or other 4 legged critters who wander into the yard from the woods, and you'll love listening to the birds and the quiet breeze blowing in the many oak and chestnut trees surrounding the home.



This home was built with both comfort and beauty in mind and you'll notice this right away when you walk through the door. Walking in the front door you'll enter the beautiful large vaulted entryway with it's lovely brick laid floor.

There are 2 bedrooms located in the front of the house, just off of the entryway. The larger front bedroom has a King bed with large windows looking out over the front yard and the woods beyond. The smaller cozy bedroom has a Queen bed and large windows as well. Both bedrooms have their own smart tv so you can watch your shows from the comfort of your bed. The main floor full bath is also located just outside of these bedrooms and has a beautiful tiled walk in shower and custom vanity.



The main living space is spacious and light-filled, and the Kitchen, Living room, and Dining room are all open to each other. The Kitchen, with its locally built custom cabinets, has plenty of workspace, a large stainless steel 36" stove/oven to enjoy cooking gourmet meals on, as well as a big kitchen island with a farmhouse porcelain sink and counter stools for additional dining space. The dining room table seats 8 comfortably and there is a set of glass sliding doors that open on to the back patio and back yard allowing the views of the woods to come inside and makes it easy to transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces.

The living room has a gorgeous vaulted ceiling with large windows looking out over the back yard and you can catch glimpses of the lake through the trees. The living room has a beautiful stone fireplace, with a gas burning insert, and you can cozy up on our leather chairs or the couch for a quiet night by the fire or for watching your favorite movie on the Roku tv.

There is a laundry room connected to the kitchen with a washer, dryer, large closet, and laundry sink.



Tucked behind the living room is the Primary bedroom. This stunning room has large windows that look out over the backyard, a King size canopy bed, a smart tv, and an attached primary bath. The primary bath has a large soaking tub set in front of the bathroom windows, a double sink, a tiled shower with dual shower heads, and a separate toilet room. There is a large primary bedroom closet attached to the bath as well.



From the front entry area, you'll find the large open staircase to the lower level. On the lower level of this home is a spacious and comfortable Family room area. The Family room has a huge pit sofa (it will seat the whole family...easily!!), perfect for lounging while watching your favorite movies on the big screen. The 120" projector screen is connected to a Roku system....turning the projector into a massive smart tv. Surround sound has been connected to the projection system making movie watching, or watching the game, a grand experience! There is a small table and chairs tucked in the corner for playing a game of cards, and you can enjoy shooting pool or keep your inner kid entertained with the NFL and Pacman arcade games.



The 4th bedroom is located on the lower level as well and is spacious with a King size canopy bed and a window looking out into the back yard and woods. There is another full bath located just outside of this bedroom with a walk in shower.



The back patio has a beautiful woodburning stone fireplace for building a cozy fire after dark, outdoor furniture to sink into after a day of wine tasting, and an outdoor dining table. Just down the yard from the house is an additional outdoor firepit area where you can roast smores, hotdogs, or enjoy a good old fashioned camp fire.

The house is situated on several acres of woodland, however we do ask guests to be respectful of the neighboring wooded areas that are posted and not available for guests to wander through. There is also a gully located on the property, just beside the yard, and if you have small children you will want to be mindful of this before booking. There is a small creek in the gully and it is an easy gully to be explored but it could be a potential safety hazard to young, unattended children. The garage is not available for guest use.

**We ask that the primary renters be over the age of 25. By booking you agree with this policy and comply with the request that the renter is over the age of 25.
**No pets or animals are allowed at any time, no exceptions. Any guest found to be in violation of our pet policy will be asked to leave and/or charged an additional cleaning fee.
**No parties are allowed at any time.
