Located on a quiet street, in a stone building, on the second floor (1.5 flights, no elevator), this is a beautiful, 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath lovely vacation rental apartment. This apartment has undergone an extensive renovation in high standards and was fully furnished and equipped to meet all your needs in a vacation rental. Each bedroom can sleep two guests.
In the apartment you will find cable TV in the living room and main bedroom, wireless internet connection, an equipped kitchen, and washing machine. There are air conditioning units in each of the bedrooms and living room.

FANTASTIC Vacation Apartment

This was the best vacation rental we have ever had. Ori has built a beautiful apartment right in the capital of Israel, Jerusalem. The location is perfect as you can easily walk to the Old City as well as Machane Yehuda Shuk (market) and City Center. There is even a supermarket around the corner. I hope to stay here the next time I visit Israel- hopefully soon.

Great Apartment in a great location

We were very happy with this apartment. It is clean, comfortable and had plenty of space for 4 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was fantastic, Very close to markets for groceries, walking distance to many restaurants, the Mamilla Mall and the Jaffa Gate to the old city I(through the Mamilla Mall).

Lovely apartment in amazing neighborhood

Hi - this apartment was clean, updated, and comfortable, if a tad small. Washer/dryer was hard to work but everything else was perfect. Location can't be beat: right near Mamilla Mall and an easy walk to the Kotel. Great communication with the owner, too.

overall the apartment met our needs. One issue as noted by others is the washer/dryer. Did not always work and the dryer specifically was not very effective. There were drying racks so we could hang up our cloths.

Great location and great apartment!

Self-check-in was quick and simple, staff was helpful on phone. Location is fantastic - quite neighborhood walking distance to Yaffo gate. The apartment clean and truly 2 bedrooms - small but comfortable sizes; and truly 1 and a half bathrooms - everything as advertised. The balcony is facing a quite small garden. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed and wow! has a panoramic window facing town. I will try rent it when I come to Jerusalem again. One small note to owner - the shutters from bedrooms doors to balcony don't work smoothly, that was hard to open and close them.

Plenty of room for our family of 4 with twice as many bags. Yishai met us there to show us in and show us how everything worked. We were there in December, and the heaters kept the apartment warm and the shower hot. He arranged for a close by parking spot. 12 min walk to mamilla mall and grocery store were very convenient. There was construction near by that started at 7am exactly, but that did not annoy us as we are early risers - and helped get the kids up. A wonderful experience.

Great spot in Jerusalem!

Easy check in and great communication! Amazing central location. The apartment it a 10-15 minute walk to Ben Yehuda Street, or Mamilla and all the shops and restaurants that you could need. It’s also a 20 minute walk to the old city. The apartment is very well appointed and modern. Excellent air conditioning and comfortable beds. Nice modern bathroom and shower. Really comfortable for a family of 4. It is up a couple short flights of stairs which may be difficult for some with heavy bags, but the stairs are easy to navigate. The building itself is very quiet and it’s on a quiet street. We had a car for one day and we were able to find street parking nearby. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay here again!

Overall a great stay. Neighborhood is in walking distance to many attractions ( old city, first station, machine yahuda). Basic accommodation without frills. Quiet balcony for 2. Comfortable beds. Couldn’t get tv to work but didn’t much care. Small kitchen. Dryer was Weak. Should have screens on bathroom windows. Slight sewer smell in bathroom. Coffee maker would have been nice. Also has complete Shabbat ritual items and separate kosher dishes. we were happy there.

When A Listing IS NOT Kosher

We checked in by ourselves, using the coded door combination because the property manager was not available. Apartment was clean but oven and taster oven both needed cleaning. The so-called kosher kitchen was poorly equipped. All the plates had to be washed before we could use them. Nice that they provided separate sponges for meat and dairy (joking). Dairy dishes had 4 large plates, 2 small plates and NO bowls. Meat dishes had 4 large plates, three soup bowls and two serving bowls. Cutlery was sufficient. Only three small coffee mugs, one drinking glass and a few wine glasses. The cutting boards for meat and dairy were very small. No parve utensils, cutting board or dishes of any kind. Nothing equivalent to a chef knife, bread knife, or any other cooking tools. The pots were inadequate for any kind of cooking. Now on to the washer/dryer. The listing says Washer and Dryer NOT a combined device which washes then drys. A half load (7/5 kg machine) took an hour to wash, then almost four hours to dry, using the recommended settings. That got the laundry to just damp. We used the extra folding chairs, placed them in front of the wall heater, laid the clothing out and left the heat on all night. When I complained the owner told me to take the laundry somewhere and she would pay. Wrong answer! There is no lint filter that we could find or that was described in the vendors online manual, so there was lint on all the clothing and on the floor. The vendor's directions were poorly written and the property manager could not figure it out. NIce that the table seats six people but given these shortcoming they would have to take turns to eat. We did find the broom on the mirpset , itwas dirty and had to be cleaned before use. The clothes drying rack was in similar condition. In closing, great location but that is where it ends.

Location, Location, Location!

In real estate it's all about the location, and Ori's apartment is no exception. Four of us stayed at this lovely apartment for several days while we visited the Old City. The apartment is a very short walk away form the Jaffa Gate. The apartment is small, but comfortable. The washer/dryer works great, it is just slower than larger, separate units. It takes 2 hours to wash, 2 ~ 3 hours to dry completely. But it works! The apartment is an older renovation, but everything works as advertised. We arrived on Saturday, which is Sabbat, but the self check-in instructions were spot on. You can't go wrong staying at Ori's place!

Pros: Everything is as described, Host is very responsive, apartment is very clean with comfortable beds. You can’t beat location as you can walk to the old city and around the corner from US consulate. Cons: water heater takes a while to warm up when it’s cold outside. Few more coffee mugs and utensils would be very helpful.

Great place, great location and owners very concerned about my having everything I need.

It’s a great place. Full of light, within walking distance to most places of interest. It is comfortable, large and spacious. Ori and Yishai are very helpful and concerned that one has all that one needs to make it a comfortable stay. And when shortly after I came in I notified them that I was cutting my stay short by one week, I was given a refund. I recommend this place highly.
