About the host
Hosted by Carolyn Arnold
I am a retired Medical Microbiologist. Also I am an Artist working in Watercolors and Oils, and teach an occasional beginners class. I also enjoy gardening, cooking, and especially being a Mom to my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Molly. I love living in nature rather than in town. I guess one could say I am a bit of a recluse.
Why they chose this property
Living in this peaceful place is good for my soul and brings out my creativity. The neighbors are unseen, and quiet, but helpful and friendly when needed. I'd say privacy and peacefulness is the most appreciated quality of life here.
What makes this property unique
Our proximity has the feeling of being far away from city life and yet has an easy 20 minute drive to Entertainment, shopping, restaurants, outdoor activities, and so much more. The Ferry system is also 20 min to the terminal with a gorgeous ride into Seattle. You may even spot a pod of our local Orcas and an occasional Grey Whale.
We also have 3 private RV spaces with full utilities for those travelers with boats, trailers, campers and motor homes.
The Meadows is environmentally beautiful, peaceful, surrounded by forest, has fields, two ponds, and big ole barn. We have plans for an Orchard soon. We just have to figure out how to live with the deer and at the same time keep enough fruit and veggies for ourselves, lol.
