We had a really nice experience. We were able to communicate easily with host when needed. Location next to alittle town with shops and alittle further down the street a big grocery store and all the big box office stores.
Perfect for our weekend stay. Host provided plenty of towels and had a good amount of kitchen equipment. Easy check in and out. Location is great for easily getting into the city. Surrounding area is quant with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
My family stayed in Aspinwall for a weekend to visit some friends. The property was clean and in a great location. We easily walked to get dinner and for coffee in the morning. I especially appreciated all of the amenities provided for my two children (infant and toddler). The crib and changing table were wonderful and meant we didn’t have to travel with so much. The baby gates were appreciated along with the toys and kids kitchen playset. The house is close to railroad tracks but our toddler loved seeing the trains go by. Beds and linens were comfy and clean. Thanks so much for a great weekend!
A family of five, we've stayed here twice because of the proximity to family members who live in the area. There's lots for kids to do within a short walk (parks, splash pad, baseball) and the house is well equipped to handle little ones. We stayed in the heat of summer and the AC worked well even on the third floor where most of the beds are. Overall it was a nice stay. The only downside is the proximity to the train and a busy street - it's not the most quite location but its manageable. The landscaping was also very neglected but that didn't impact our stay.
We stayed here as a family of four. The house is nicely set up for kid sleeping and with toys for playing. Although the unit is the 2nd and 3rd floor, the main entry is spacious enough for a stroller or lots of shoes before going upstairs. One note: the first night was warm so we tried opening a window and the trains are VERY loud. We could not hear them at all with the windows closed, though. There was a fan and a white noise machine available to help cover noise, and we saw a window AC that might get installed for the summer --eliminating that as an issue.
My children (2 & 4) loved all the toys. The baby gates were also a great upgrade. The neighborhood was family-oriented. Check-in was a breeze. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in and had a variety of pillows types. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. There were Folgers Kcups available. The cons: The 3rd floor bedroom is uncomfortably hot. We checked in at 4pm and the baby monitor read 78 degrees. When we arrived it had been in the high 70s most of the day. I moved a fan from the 2nd floor to the 3rd and was able to get it down to 72 by 9 pm. I was aware from the listing that we would have a renter below the apartment, but we were uncomfortable with the fact that even though the below renter has their own exterior entrance, there also appears to be an access door IN this apartment. Meaning you enter through the key coded entrance to this apartments 1st floor, then straight ahead is an entryway that appears to access the 1st floor apartment and a flight of stairs that accesses the 2nd floor livingroom. This made us uncomfortable because said door didnt have locks available on our side, only keyed access. Meaning if that door did access the 1st floor apartment, they could just enter right up the stairs into our location. With those two comfort factors aside our stay was alright.

Thanks Samantha , I'm glad you had a great overall stay. Just to clarify the stated cons mentioned... We have a supplemental AC in the third floor that is readily available for use. A simple message to use or call could have overcome this issue. Also, there is no access to this property form the first floor unit. The access door being referenced in this review is for the furnace and utility room. As stated in the listing, this is a private 2nd and 3rd floor townhouse with a first floor entrance, There is no access from the first floor unit at all so this is an inaccurate reference. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us and ask for any further clarification needed.
