Very convenient to local night life on the square. Just right for one or two couples. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen was stocked with numerous appliances and amenties.Check in was very easy.

Great location

Great clean place in the heart of Denton. Walking distance to countless bars and restaurants. Free play arcade and Speak easy in the square were great fun. Even though close to everything it was quiet at night at least when we were there. If you’re looking for a nice place without having to drive this is perfect for you!!!

Great Stay for Wedding Weekend

This property was in a great location, close to the square and all sorts of fun spots. We were there for my daughter's wedding. The beds are super comfy with plenty of pillows! There are even extra fans in the closet for those who need the extra noise at night. The property was clean and welcoming with great, detailed instructions. I would definitely stay there again!

Weekend off the square

The place was clean but dated. Bed was comfy and the amenities were good. The driveway needs some gravel in the potholes and i would have liked for our second car to be allowed to park in the parking lot. I was suprised at the vibrant nightlife in the area! Ot was fun!

Perfect location for visiting your UNT student!

This was our 2nd stay at the Hickory St Lodge. We have a freshman at UNT and needed to come into town to help him move into his dorm and then again to search for his first apartment. This little apartment is perfectly situated maybe 1 block from main Denton square. You can walk to get breakfast in the morning. Very walkable to plenty of spots for shopping and dining.Inside the apartment you will find a few extras that other places usually don't include, which was really nice to have, like a make up mirror, make up wipes, some other personal type toiletries. Lots of usb outlets, kitchen is fully stocked with pots pans, etc. The only thing missing is some kind of coffee creamer. Beds are very comfortable, lots of plush fluffy bedding, and everything was very clean. Parking passes were provided to park on the side/behind building but we were able to find spots on the street.
