Unfortunately our stay didn’t happen.
If you are considering staying here, I’d recommend confirming availability with host well in advance, as response in our case required 3 days of online chats & phone calls with VRBO, before we received the following email while in the Uber on the way to the airport:
“Message from the host
Hi Lisa, we really apologize for the inconvenience. The property is unavailable and there was some issue with the VRBO website. The calendar had not been updated properly, and we had not seen the reservation or your previous messages until now. Sorry for the last minute cancellation, and hope all is well with your family.”
We ended up staying in a hotel for 5 nights while we found another location for the remaining 5 weeks of our stay.

Thanks for your review of the VRBO website (rather than our property, which you never visited). Apologies for the unfortunate scheduling error.
Just to clarify, we were never aware of your reservation. The calendar was supposed to be blocked through November 2024. We never even entered the required bank account information to receive payment.
Prior to making the reservation, you sent us multiple messages asking to stay in the condo. We never responded (because we did not receive the messages)
Yet, you made the reservation anyway, which was made completed than 24 hours before your flight and check-in.
VRBO recommends that guests confirm with the selected dates with the host before making a reservation.
