About this property

Uncle Buddy's Cabin

Uncle Buddy's is an adorable log cabin nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Pony. Well suited for one couple, but can accommodate up to 4, the cabin faces towards the west with a beautiful view of Hollowtop Mountain and the Tobacco Root Mountains. It is within walking distance of the post office, Pony Park, and the Pony Bar. Access to the mountains is just a few miles down the road, and from there you can join the many trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding that this area provides.

Pony is a small town of less than 200 people at the foot of Hollowtop Mountain in the Tobacco Root Mountains. Founded in the late 19th century as a mining town, Pony was once home to several thousand residents during its gold mining peak. Today, many of the town's original buildings have been preserved, including the Pony Bar, which is one of Montana's oldest continuously operated bars. Pony is a popular destination for visitors who are interested in history and outdoor recreation.
