Main bedroom features king-sized bed & movie-style TV that adjoin a spa-inspired bathroom with walkaround shower & antique bathtub. 2nd bedroom includes full-size bed & TV. 2nd full bathroom features custom tile shower. Game room includes pool table & TV plus bunk beds! Inflatable queen mattress and linens also available. Just 2 doors down from The Hollow. Breakfast included!

Blackwater is centrally located between Kansas City & Columbia & home to award-winning Wildcliff Wedding & Events. Just two doors down from the Bungalow is The Hollow, Wildcliff's indoor reception hall. River & Rail, a specialty coffee & bake shop, is just across the street. Iron Horse Hotel is rich in history & their outdoor space is one that all enjoy. Downtown Blackwater has several antique stores & boutiques. Blackwater is just 6 miles from the historic village of Arrow Rock, home to the Lyceum Theatre & much more.

BREAKFAST OPTIONS ARE PROVIDED:

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful downtown bungalow! The space was spotless, comfortable, and well‑equipped (we especially appreciated the snacks, coffee, and fully stocked kitchen). Lovely home in a quaint small town on Main Street. The home was well stocked with supplies and even had some snacks and drinks.The town has a few shops, a coffee shop, and a small restaurant. The small town of Arrow Rock is a short drive away where more small town shops and a theater can be found. We hope to visit again soon.

Fantastic Rental!

Property exceeded expectations! Very spacious, very clean, many personal touches and supplies. We stayed 2 nights to attend a play in Arrow Rock and do some small town shopping. The owner is very accommodating and a pleasure to do business with.

Hidden Gem, Must Stay!

This house has got to be one of the prettiest places I’ve stayed at. It’s a 100 year brick building that has been transformed into a 2 bedroom 2 bath plus bunks, and game room. It’s in a quiet cute little town 15 minutes from Boonville. Their hospitality is top-notch; breakfast sandwiches, water, coffee, tea, and snacks. I would recommend to anyone and plan to stay again!

Charming, clean, and just plain wonderful.

My husband, myself, and our teenage son stayed here for a weekend. We explored the town of Arrow Rock, which is just down the road, and did the ghost tour. The place was wonderful! Very clean and it smelled great. The beds were comfortable. The decor was charming and renovations are fantastic. Fully stocked kitchen, pool table, large dining area, and coffee and snacks provided. Was truly a unique place to stay. We will definitely come back.

Great stay for Lyceum Theater

Our family of 4 (with kids 18 & 22) stayed in Blackwater for 2 nights to see ‘A Christmas Carol” in December. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Bungalow. We loved the holiday lights in Blackwater, walking through town to visit shops, the coffee shop, playing pool and card games as a family, visiting Arrow Rock with dinner at Huston Tavern and A Christmas Carol at the Lyceum Theater. This was our first trip to the theater and I’m sure we will be back. The Bungalow was perfect space for us to spend time together and communication with the host was excellent.

Family wedding in Blackwater

This was the most amazing bungalow we could have imagined. The location on Main Street was ideal both before and after the wedding. The bungalow is stunning! Family and friends who stopped in were just as taken with the space as we were! The owners thought of everything, and even stocked the refrigerator with cold water, the pantry with a few snacks and the freezer with breakfast sandwiches. Perfectly appointed unique property

My wife and I were needing a place to stay in the area, and I am so happy to have found the Blackwater Bungalow. We have stayed at several VRBO's over the years but few as nice, as accurate, as well communicated and stocked as this one. It has all of the small touches (plenty of coffee, water in the fridge, good wifi, books, games, tv's, etc.). It sits downtown in a small charming community but enough to get a good coffee, danish and traditional cafe meal in the morning. If you have a reason or want a get-a-way from KC or STL come stay here, go back in time a bit while enjoying all the comforts of home. It's 2 bedrooms + bunks and a pool table are enough to bring the family or friends with you. We look forward to staying here several more times when our travels bring us to the area. Thank you for making this special place available and I hope travelers value and respect the work and love you've put into the property.
