Explore local mountains for hiking, Mt. Monadnock is one nearby in Jaffrey NH. A beautiful spot atop this property gives you the perfect wind down at the end of your day looking over the whole town. Over 20 plus restaurants to choose from the majority being a 1/2 mile walk downtown. The historic Peterborough Diner, the 75 yr old lunch car from Worcester MA is a great place to start your day! We want you to feel at home in this beautiful town of Peterborough.

Great location

Loved the barn, very comfortable and toasty warm. This is our second time visiting and it will not be the last. The host is awesome and the fresh eggs are a nice touch.

Perfect location and a vary cozy cabin

Melanie, our host, was great throughout our whole stay. The check-in process was very easy! There were great recommendations of places to go while in town. The location is amazing, great views of the picturesque river, very easy quick walk into town, everything you need with in walking distance. The apartment/cabin itself is beautiful. There is a fully equipped kitchen. The living room is perfect for snuggling on the couch. The bed was very comfortable and linens were soft. The bathroom was also very nice. We very much enjoyed the fresh eggs and the chickens on site added much entertainment! We would highly recommend this VRBO rental.

Stay for daughter’s wedding

Melanie was a fantastic host! Stayed at her studio barn because of the great previous reviews and pics. Although there was only 2 of us and did not need the 2 extra beds in the loft it was perfect! The view from the deck was beautiful and great to relax and read a book. The chickens and the fresh eggs and bread was a great touch. Talked to Melanie daily at the house and/ or the Peterborough diner which she also runs. My wife and I felt like she was also a friend long before the end of our week long stay! Thanks for everything Melanie and hope to stay here again in the future while visiting our daughter and her new husband. Ron and Angie
