The Bunkhouse was perfect for a group reliving their college days. Absolutely 100% ideal location. The house was clean and the host was great in providing information. Very nice kitchen for a short term rental, too! We would definitely stay again.

Good location. Cool old house but needs some TLC. Disagree that it can sleep/accommodate 8. Bed space for 6. Living room space for 4 adults. Dining table space for 7. Kitchen difficult to cook in - could use an island for some much needed counter space. Hopefully reviewing/improving cleaning procedures. Several things needed routine maintenance as well.
What a fantastic find - this will be our go-to from now on when we visit Bloomington! The property is a quick walk to downtown, and was just as described in the listing. It's a charming little place, but modern where it needs to be! Three quite nice bedrooms (two with full double beds, one with bunk beds) and two bathrooms was quite comfortable, and they were all nicely appointed with towels, clean sheets & blankets, extras of everything, and plenty of power outlets and chargers. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some home cooked meals for us and for the folks we were visiting. Laundry was great, and everything was clean and fresh. And the AC was working great during our very HOT stay. I can't say enough about our host - he was great at communicating before the trip, checked in with us on the day before to confirm arrival time, and was always quick to respond. We encountered a minor plumbing issue (hey, it happens, no fault of the owner) and he was ON it, had the plumber there right away to get it resolved. He also let us know about an emergency repair in a nearby unit in case it impacted us (it didn't, but we appreciated the heads up!) If everyone was as clear at communicating and as accomodating as our host, the world would be a better place. If I could give more stars, I would. :-)
