Family 4th Weekend!

We found this property to be very inviting for our family. We had plenty of room and the distance to the water was just right. Our family enjoyed the upper and lower decks and spent a lot of time eating, visiting and just hanging out on them.

Great view

The house was awesome. We had plenty of space inside and outside. With the River in the back yard it made it very nice to lounge around and play in the water. We would definitely go back again.

Host was great, house is quiet and peaceful, near the river, easy 2 miles to a nice-clean grocery store (Wrights), and fun shopping at stores owned by locals that also own some of the properties nearby :)This is a house for people looking to escape electronics and enjoy nature. It took us right around 40 minutes to get to the Diamond Crater Mine State Park, and it was nice to return to a peaceful house. Hopefully, the house will be available for our next family trip!

This cabin has plenty of space around it and sits on a prime spot on the crystal clear Caddo River directly across from mountains and a small waterfall to explore! The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. I highly recommend bringing water shoes to walk across the rocks to the river and explore. Even in mid-October it was worth wading in the chilly water. Don't miss out on floating or kayaking the Caddo and visiting Little Missouri Falls during your stay.

Two family vacation- lots of kids

Great space in the house for families. Super clean with well-thought out layout. Design of the house was not only highly functional, but also playful with plumbing fixtures controlling lights and balcony railings made of pipes.Great location to river for little kids. Enough rapids to be fun, but a secondary traverse offered gentle waters for the littles.

Amazing Riverfront Vacation

The Caddo Lookout was the perfect vacation home for our extended family. This beautiful house was perfectly clean and well stocked. It is right on the river with plenty of privacy space between the other vacation houses on either side. Our children played from sun up to sundown in the river which is an easy little walk from the deck. The upstairs bunk rooms were amazing- tons of room in there, and the bunks have built in power outlets. Our only concern was small children can easily fit through the pipe railings on the second floor catwalk, so we kept the little ones downstairs. The host was always quick to respond to our needs. We will definitely plan to come again!

We loved our stay here for Fathers’s Day. We have adult kids and there were 8 of us total and we all had plenty of comfortable beds! We spent our time outside on the big deck and went to Luckys for a float trip 5 mins down the road. A great space!

This is an amazing place to stay with the whole family. The location is perfect, with the river right outside your door so the kids can play while you relax on the porch. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.
