Conveniently located in the Mid-Town area of Oriental, Southern Sky Lodge is just a short walk to dining, arts, shopping and the waterfront. Grab one of our complimentary bicycles and enjoy everything Oriental has to offer year-round! Enjoy our large fireplace and patio around back as you grill up your favorite cuisine on one of our outdoor grilling stations. Bring your boat and leave it in our slip at the Marina! No worries, there's plenty of parking in our large private parking lot. Fun for all ages and interest! Grab the gang and come on down! We look forward to seeing you!

We hosted a dad daughter outing for our crew here. Place was excellent shape, amazing backyard, ample cooking supplies and timely communications. Definitely recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Perfect place for two families to gather and go to the Cherry Point Air Show. Clean, easy check-in. Hosts answered any and all questions immediately. Loved the fireplace in the back. Hosts were thoughtful enough to provide wood, fat wood for starting and a lighter. Thank you for your part in making this a wonderful Mother’s Day with family. Would definitely stay again.

This house was just what we needed for our group of 9 adults in Oriental for a bicycling weekend. The location was a short walk from restaurants, shops, the waterfront and our downtown event headquarters. The 7 rooms gave everyone ample space, the beds were comfortable, towels fluffy, and house clean and welcoming. The large backyard created a perfect gathering space, with a nice picnic table for meals. A large storage unit accommodated our bikes comfortably. Our host was flexible with special requests and prompt with all communications. In short, it was a perfect spot for our large group and we would return in a heartbeat!

Great location with tons of space!

We rented the entire lodge for Thanksgiving weekend. What a great deal, especially since we could all be together, and not in separate hotel/houses. Not all bedrooms were used, but we served as an overflow for my sister's house guests if needed. It was very clean, convenient, and the coffee "bar" was a dream!!! We will definitely be back, and not just for a holiday!
