We love having you as our guests Terri! I know a guest is enjoying their stay when they call and extend their stay because they don't want to leave! You are so right about the private cove of water down at the lake. My friends and I always take our lawn chairs down there and some will just sit while others float in their tubes. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am so happy that you guys were able to enjoy the holidays at Aqua Bella! The spaciousness of the house does make it nice for large family groups. Thanks Margaret and Bill for staying at Aqua Bella! I am so happy you guys had a great time and took advantage of the peacefulness of it's surroundings. It is an awesome place to relax and unwind! I wish I could capture that view with my camera but it is nice that every guest that stays is so surprised by the view!! I try to describe it in the listing but when guests arrive they just can't believe the views from the decks as well as from in the house!! Thanks again for staying and I hope you guys will return in the near future for another visit or stay at the new guesthouses in Wimberley or Key Allegro/Rockport (A Creekside Farmhouse and Blue Heron) which are both 3,000 sq ft and sleep up to 10 guests. So happy you got to celebrate your 50th birthday at Aqua Bella AND had a great and relaxing time! It is awesome being only steps from the lake and having access directly to the lake.The hot tub is great whether it is winter or summer! We have a fuzzy little girl also so we want to be able to accommodate others who have furry "children"! :-) I also wanted to say a huge thank you for leaving the place immaculate. We take a lot of pride in our home and make sure it is very clean for guests but we sure do appreciate when our guests leave it as they found it. Many thanks for that!!! We look forward to you guys returning for another visit!

Sharon, Ronnie and I were honored that you chose Aqua Bella to celebrate your 20th Anniversary. That is something to celebrate!! :-) I am so happy you guys got to enjoy those gorgeous views on the relaxing deck. I love all the cardinals as well and that is why I make sure there is a stock of bird seed in the pantry for them. They are such fun to watch!! We have tried to make the home as comfortable and nice as possible so I really appreciate that you have recognized that. Every year I add something, even if it is just a waffle maker! You were a pleasure to work with as well and we would love to have you guys return for another visit to Aqua Bella or try out one of our other 3,000 sq ft home in Key Allegro on the large canal ("Blue Heron") or our 3,000 sq ft home on a spring fed creek in Wimberley ("A Creekside Farmhouse") or our private cottage in Gonzales that has a private swimming pool ("The Cabana") or one of our other 7 cabins in Wimberley that sit on 5 acres around a wet weather pond. First, "thanks" for choosing Aqua Bella for your stay at Canyon Lake! We are so happy you had a wonderful time and could enjoy those awesome views...and they are awesome!!! Tell the girls thanks for feeding the deer. The deer LOVE our guests!!! :-) The boat launch within walking distance is super nice but if you ever don't get to bring your boat on another visit, the marina with rental boats can be seen right out the glass doors of the master bedroom. In response to this review just wanted to let all prospective guests know some “maintenance and updating” that has been done THIS year, prior to these guests: all new large rugs upstairs and down (the red floral because previous guests’ dogs scratched our other ones up), house washer washed entire outside of house down and all windows inside and out, carpets were cleaned, brand new microwave, brand new king bed added to downstairs bedroom with all new bedding and took out queen set, added more outdoor furniture for seating on lower deck and last year replaced both the upstairs and the downstairs HVAC units with brand new ones at quite an expense! So although we never claim the house to be perfect we are constantly doing things to maintain the home! We do have a list of things I will be continuing to update but it all has to be worked between guests’ visits and we are booked solid. Many things will be done during the fall and winter as things slow down. Please read all reviews because in 8 years we have NEVER received a 3 star review!
