About the host
Hosted by Owner/Manager
Built by our great grandparents, we three close siblings, John, Ben, and Katharine, co-own this property which has been in our family since 1923. We have all been going to North Haven island for over 50 years and hope to never miss a summer there!
Why they chose this property
This is a truly unique island, free of commercialization, yet offering all the amenities that make a vacation unique. With only 335 year-round residents, you can enjoy the waterfront at your doorstep. In addition to exploring the unbelievable island of North Haven, there is also the charming town of Vinalhaven to explore as well as Vinalhaven's warm, natural quarries. Hundreds of uninhabited islands surround North Haven and can be accessed by short boat rides. They are perfect for picnics, hiking, and roaming.
What makes this property unique
Our home sits right on the thoroughfare close to town. You can feel connected to the hustle and bustle, while also enjoying the privacy the house provides. The property provides stunning views, with easy access to both land and water alike.
