Wonderful property, beautiful forest, with so much character. My kids loved it. Super friendly dog that my kids miss. One note, it’s next to a busy road that can be very loud so if your looking for quiet probably not the best choice, but other then they is awesome in every way.
We had an amazing time! The caboose and property felt very private and relaxing. The forest is way bigger than expected and we could have spent a few more days exploring the trails. The caboose is very well insulated and comfortable, you couldn't tell there was a rain storm outside. It was a good choice for a winter getaway. Our little one was over the moon excited to see it as we pulled up the driveway and had to tell all his family his adventure staying in a caboose.
Wonderful stay in a beautiful property close to many great spots!

The caboose itself was super cute and incredibly and well laid out and the property was absolutely outstanding. My only complaint is I wasn’t able to stay a second night to further explore the property. I will be booking here again in the spring time to enjoy the flowers blooming
The caboose has been expertly, charmingly and comfortably renovated! It was a perfect hideaway for us on a busy wedding weekend. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.
We had a great time staying here. Staying in a caboose was fun for the whole family. The space was clean and modern inside. Make sure to take time to walk around the property and check out all the great viewing areas. The bridge was our favorite. We will definitely be back.

Cute Caboose
This caboose is really cute and authentic, spotlessly clean & well appointed with everything you need. It is not falsely advertised & the host was very communicative & responsive. However, it is set very close to the Lougheed Highway which was way too noisy for us. So, what was meant to be a peaceful & relaxing stay in the forest, for us turned into a “ how on earth are we going to block out the traffic noise?
Amazing stay in the Caboose. The kids had VERY high expectations for this stay, and they were easily surpassed! We could have spent an extra couple days just exploring the trails and lookout points around the property. Well equipped kitchen with fresh well water, decadent shower, and beautifully decorated interior. The kids loved the loft bedroom and pretending to drive the train.Had a clear night with an amazing view of the stars from the 'skypad'.The host was great with communication. As someone with severe pet allergies they were very accommodating and provided all the answers we needed ahead of time. The caboose is quite close to the road (up on a cliff above the road), so you can here some traffic during the day, but at night we didn't notice anything other than the occasional train whistle from the nearby tracks (which was very fitting) Highly recommend the Lindeman Lake hike in Chilliwack - it ends up being almost a whole day trip, but definitely worthwhile. Also check out the cheese and ice cream from the farm just around the corner from the caboose (Farmhouse Natural Cheeses)Can't wait to come back and try out the new tree house suite! This place was amazing!
Difficulties with earlier travel meant that we arrived at the caboose late into the night, with a scheduled departure of the next morning. We had a short time of exploration of the trails running through the property in the morning, but would have enjoyed seeing more; the trails - which include wooden structures such as stairways, gazebos, bridges, shelters, and boardwalks as well as earthen trails - provide views of the Fraser River from a variety of angles.
The caboose itself is generous in size, with plenty of room for the three adults in my family who stayed there. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are fitted with quality linens and necessities.
This is a beautifully repurposed structure, and the owners have an intriguing vision for expanding the site.
