Getting Around:

Walking – Many of East Austin’s best spots—bars, restaurants, and coffee shops—are just a short stroll apart.
Biking & Scooters – Rent a bike from MetroBike (Austin’s bike-share program) or hop on an electric scooter like Bird, Lime, or Veo. Great for short trips and avoiding traffic.
Public Transit – CapMetro buses run throughout East Austin and connect to downtown, the airport, and other neighborhoods. The MetroRail Red Line also has a stop at Plaza Saltillo, offering a quick ride to downtown and beyond.
Rideshare & Taxis – Uber and Lyft are readily available, and the local rideshare app RideAustin is another solid option. Yellow Cab Austin also operates in the area.
Driving & Parking – If you’re renting a car, street parking is available but can be limited in busy areas. Check for metered spots or use parking garages near 6th Street, Rainey Street, and Downtown.
To & From the Airport – Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is about 15 minutes away by car. Catch a rideshare, taxi, or take the CapMetro Route 20 bus for a budget-friendly option.

• The house is near 7 East Street and while this provides a great convenience, we also want to inform you that there might be potential traffic noise due to its location. We're taking proactive steps to minimize any inconvenience. Your understanding is so much appreciated.
Pet Friendly:
• Pets are welcome. A maximum of two pets under 60 lbs each is allowed. A pet fee of $49 per pet will be added if pets are included at booking. If pets are not declared during booking, the applicable fee will be charged separately. Please note the booking platform only allows one pet to be selected; if bringing a second pet, the additional fee will be collected after booking.
Additional Services:
• Planning a BBQ? Your rental comes with a complimentary full tank upon arrival. A propane tank refill is available for a one-time $55 charge. Let us know in advance, and we’ll make sure you’re all set to grill and enjoy!
• We offer mid-stay cleaning for reservations over 3 days in duration. This service is available for an extra fee and will need to be booked in advance.
House Rules
1. Parties, events and smoking/vaping are prohibited in or around our property.
2. Please check-out on time. Late departures will result in a charge for each additional hour the property cannot be accessed for turnover.
3. Large messes will result in an additional cleaning fee. Please clean up after yourselves and your pets.
4. Firearms and weapons are strictly prohibited on the property.
If any of these house rules are broken, you and your group may be subject to additional charges or be requested to vacate the property immediately without refund.

Good location to get to places, putting green and outside patio were perfect for downtime. Murray’s Tavern has some solid pub food and cocktails.

This house was great for hosting a girls trip for my sister’s bachelorette party. They were very accommodating and everyone had a place to stay. I would recommend to add curtains to bathroom windows.

A group of 13 stayed here for Halloween weekend and had an amazing time! It was even better than the pictures and we loved the extras like the covered patio/bar area and the backyard games. Was a perfect weekend in Austin and would definitely rent again !
The house was as described in the listing. The host did a great job in communication with us prior to our arrival and during our stay. We had a few minor issues with the property that we brought to the hosts attention after our departure, but nothing that took away from our stay enough that it's worth mentioning in the review.The neighborhood around this house had some interesting dynamics to it. There is an HEB and food truck park that are walkable, but there were also quite a few homeless people around the corner from the home which made walking at certain times of the day/evening feel unsafe. We never felt unsafe in the home, but it's not somewhere we'd want our kids walking around by themselves either.
