We absolutely loved this quiet, peaceful home. So beautifully and warmly decorated and comfortable. Appreciated the great organization and all the amenities as well. Great location and we had a great time visiting and hiking North Cascades National Park each day we were there. If we return to this area, we would definitely stay at this lovely home again. Everyone in our group loved it!

Darling and very comfortable home. Well-appointed, nice neighborhood, and close to Hagens grocery store. Cristine, our host, was very friendly and helpful. We spent most of our days in a workshop while we were there. We will revisit this property when we return for additional workshops.

Cozy home near town

This was a great spot for us to stay over the thanksgiving holiday. We were visiting family so didn’t need to cook, but the kitchen was well stocked (and labeled!) which was appreciated. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for all of us.

Weekend in Town

Getting our floors redone and needed a nearby refuge. Kiddos loved their stay here and the decorated rooms. Host was very easy to communicate with and very welcoming.

Visiting Mount Vernon

We came to visit our son and this home allowed us to have the family together during the visit. Comfortable and nicely updated. A coffee station that was perfect for the coffee lover.

Comfortable stay in a quiet neighborhood

My husband, son, and my son’s girlfriend traveled to Mount Vernon from Wisconsin for a two-day wedding and two more days of sightseeing afterward. Christine offered us a relaxing home base for all of the festivities - very clean, comfortable, well-stocked, easy location to get to everywhere we were going, and in a quiet, scenic neighborhood. We took morning walks and could see Mount Baker in the distance, yet could jump on I-5 within 5 minutes. We all were very happy with our stay!

Christmas in Mount Vernon

This property was cozy and comfortable; it felt like home. It was perfect for our family and our dog. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need. We really appreciated the adorable Christmas decorations since we were away from home during Christmas. The home was clean, the beds and furniture were comfortable, and the set up and decor were lovely. We spent an amazing week with our family in the area!

We loved staying in this adorable house! It felt really home-y and everything was nice (loved the kitchen!) and clean. There are many special touches that made us feel comfortable and pampered as guests. :) It's a very cozy home for hanging out together, with plenty of room for everyone (4 adults, for us) to have their own space, too. The neighborhood is all nice homes and it was very quiet; we could faintly hear a train in the distance at night with the windows open, which I enjoyed! The location is great for day trips in all directions... to the mountains, islands, valley, freeway, etc. Staying here was a wonderful part of our summer vacation!

Super cute, great location!

The house was just perfect! We stayed for a long weekend while in town visiting friends for a wedding! Our friends who stayed with us got engaged while here so it was a very exciting trip! The house was located very close to the venue and just close to town in general which was ideal and perfect! Beds were comfy and everything was very clean! The kitchen is laid out very nicely and we enjoyed having an open living space downstairs where we could socialize! The neighborhood was very quiet and seemed very safe as well! Thank you for the stay!

Lovely Weekend Stay

Wow! We were so impressed with this property. The whole house was pristine when we arrived, and filled with comfortable furniture and spotless appliances. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house: awesome coffee/tea bar, tv's in every bedroom, shampoo and body wash dispensers in the showers. And we were so close to restaurants, shopping and gas. Would absolutely stay here again when I am in the area.

Great home in Mt Vernon

We were in town for a memorial service and this home was a lovely spot to stay and for family to gather and spend time together. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of serving ware, cooking ware and spices . It was one of the best equipped rental kitchens that we’ve stayed in. The appliances were all new and worked perfectly. The coffee & tea bar was awesome, too. Well thought through and stocked. The living space was comfortable and functional. The master bed was very comfortable and the linens were fabulous! Overall, I highly recommend this home and would stay again. The location was central and the neighborhood was quiet. I gave a 4 star to the listing description because a hot tub was listed on the property and there wasn’t one. Not a big deal to us, just something to note. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

What makes this property unique

I curated this space from an empty, neglected space to an inviting, comfortable home. My partner and I did the work ourselves with an occasional helper. I will be managing the property in all aspects myself rather than hiring out the management, maintenance, and cleaning. This gives a unique opportunity for everything to be well cared for.
