About this property

Charming Modern 1950s Mid-Century Ranch.

Enjoy a nostalgic experience at this centrally located home that was built in 1954. My wife and I have furnished it with a touch of modern mid century charm There is ample parking in front of the house and we are across the street from Hy-Vee grocery. Although located on a fairly busy street, the house is in a very safe area! At the opposite end of the house in what was the original garage is my one chair salon called Headlines. It has a separate entrance and please be assured that you will not be disturbed by the business activity. We look forward to your visit!

Exceptional Stay in a Perfect Location!

I had an exceptional stay at Kevin Wagler’s VRBO! The house was beautifully decorated, clean and fully equipped for a comfortable visit. Kevin was incredibly responsive and has been amazing and very accommodating! The location was perfect. I highly recommend this VRBO and I look forward to returning when visiting family here in Mt. We had a great stay and enjoyed our visit. We were gone most of the day, but enjoyed coming back to the quiet and comfortable house. We had everything we needed for our visit. Kevin was quick to respond to any questions we had. There were 3 of us and it was a perfect size for us.

Lovely little place

We had a wonderful stay in Mt. Pleasant and are so grateful for the experience. The home was exactly what we needed—a peaceful and comfortable spot to recharge at the end of each day. What truly stood out, though, was the host's kindness and flexibility. We were navigating a family situation that required some changes to our booking, and the owner was incredibly understanding and accommodating throughout the process. That kind of support made all the difference. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, welcoming home base in the area.

This was honestly the best vacation rental I ever rented. Ive been in many across several apps. I was very happy with this stay. This business trip may become a regular thing for me and if so, I will be asking host to have me again. Furniture was comfy. I always fear a rough mattress when I stay places but I slept amazing.The amenities included were nice. Ceiling fans and even desktop fans provided. Plenty of linens were included. The soap and shampoo was great quality stuff. We had a tornado threat during my stay. Host opened up his basement to me incase I needed to seek shelter.

We have four married children and have just had our 14th grandchild. We are so blessed! We live about 5 miles from town in a home on several acres. We hope you love staying in our property in town with a charming Mid-Century flair!
