Awesome place! Pictures show it well. The bunk room was a major hit with my kids. Place is fully stocked with everything you’ll need for cooking, morning coffee, etc. location is great - just a parking lot or short city block away from Caribou, Love Creamery, Canal Park Brewing, the boardwalk, the Lift Bridge, and the rock beach. My daughter already wants to come back to the “Bunk Bed Tree House.”

You are one of the few guests to mention the size of The Loft in their review. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. Far more square footage than most guest expect! And thanks for mentioning the decor. My wife and daughter-in-law have spent hours making it the homeiest place they possibly could. Everyone just loves it. We've even added two very comfortable rocker recliners which so many guests enjoy. Looking forward to hosting you again. Safe travels!

The loft was very comfortable, and the amenities were in very good condition. The Duluth aquarium (which is very close by) was a great place to take the kids. And Canal Park in general is full of interesting shops. We would definitely stay here again.

So glad to hear you felt the Loft was very comfortable! We strive to make it feel like your home away from home. We have many extra amenities, that other host would not. We don't want anything missing that our guest would need during their stay. My grandkids absolutely love the Duluth Aquarium. (Walking distance. )They'd hang out there for hours if you'd let them. Lol. And you're absolutely right. Everyone loves Canal Park, because it has everything you need ... from shops, restaurants, bars, activities, site-seeing, and just places to hang out. All within a three or four minute walk from our front door! Please come back and stay with us again soon. We really appreciate you!

Miranda, and we'd love to have you back! Thank you so much for staying with us. We are so glad you enjoyed all the amenities we stock The Loft with. We've stayed in many other vrbo's and hotels, so we know exactly what people are looking for. Many of our guests are surprised how many things are available to them. Thanks for mentioning the fun bunk beds in your review. We have had so many people comment on them through the years. My wife found this amazing setup on Pinterest, and her brother, who's an amazing carpenter and cabinet maker, built them himself! Kids can't get enough of the bunk beds. Neither can my grandkids. Plus there's a fireplace right in that room. It's so fun. And you're absolutely right. All of our guests can use the indoor heated pool, the jacuzzi, the kids pool, the sauna and the Fitness Room free of charge! And for a small fee, you can even eat breakfast with the other Hotel guests. Lol. We are looking forward to hosting you again. Thanks again for the review.

Thanks for the great review! Canal Park is extremely safe, with police present constantly. Plus our building has its own security. And our family loves all the different restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, and fast food restaurants so close. Our personal favorite is Old Chicago Pizza, which is actually attached to our building. In inclement weather, you don't even have to go outside. We love it! Please come back soon! Duluth and all of its fun awaits you again.

Alayna, we are so glad your three generational family had such a fun time on Circle Lake! Guests have over 3,000 ft to spread out, so there's plenty of room for a large family like yours! Very few people point out our proximity to great shopping and great restaurants. It's only about a 10-minute drive. Yet we're way out in the country on a lake that's so rarely used it feels like our own private Lake! Lol! Please come back and see us real soon! Steve & Julie Peters, Hosts.

The views around Canal Park and Park Point are unbelievable! A 5-minute walk brings you to the Lift Bridge, where you can watch 1,000 ft long ocean going ships sail 10 ft of it away from you. My 4-year-old grandson is fascinated watching the Lift Bridge go up and down. A 3 minute walk to the beach let's you look out over 10 miles into Lake Superior! We appreciate you trusting your vacation to us. Please come and stay at the Loft again soon.

Beautiful place, awesome location!

One of the nicest places I've stayed. Great location, right in the heart of Canal Park. Awesome layout with super cool architecture and huge exposed beams. Perfectly clean with all the amenities we needed. We will definitely be staying here again next year!

Shawn, thanks for that beautiful review! Sounds like you're going to become a regular. We really appreciate that, since we've only been open for one year. And our goal is always to be the nicest place anyone has ever stayed. We've got lots of competition out there, but according to many guests, we continue to top many of them. We work hard at it, so we really appreciate it when people notice! Thank you! And one of the reasons we purchased The Loft, is because of the super amazing architecture! The big beams, the exposed brick walls, make it absolutely Charming. In fact our family loves staying there ourselves. And it's awesome to share it with friends like you! Safe travels! Steve & Julie Peters, owners.

We booked this trip knowing we had both aging parents and teenage children to please. This place not only fit all of us nicely but the location was outstanding. Melissa, thank you so much for your kind words! We just purchased this place earlier this year, totally remodeled it, and made it available May 1st. We just love this loft! We stay there ourselves, and love how close it is to absolutely everything! I'm so glad your aging parents could enjoy it too. There's absolutely no steps whatsoever in this building. You have access to all the amenities without having to climb one step. Perfect. My dad was in a wheelchair for many years, so I am really sensitive to their needs. Please come back and stay with us real soon! We really appreciate you. Steve & Julie Peters Owners

Great location in canal park

Overall great place to stay with family. Plenty of space for everyone. Only issue was the thermostat was set to turn the a/c off during the day so we woke up to a hot morning.

Response from VrboOwner on 24 Aug, 2024
Jeanette, let me start off by sharing with you that we in no way would ever set a thermostat to turn the air conditioning off at night ever! We want our guests to be in total control of how warm or cool it is in the Loft. That is our highest priority. I profusely apologize that some guest set the thermostat to do something we did not authorize it to do. We had that thermostat professionally installed by an HVAC company. We'll have our maintenance man look at it right away! Thanks so much for staying with us. We appreciate it.

Location & so family friendly

Do yourself a favor and just book this place! My family & I stayed a couple of nights and my four year old son cried the whole way home because we had to leave! This place is spotless, perfect for families, communication was immediate & we already rebooked for end of August. The kids [4 & 6] absolutely loved the bunk beds; we had tons of space for slow mornings to play, eat breakfast & the location was right in the heart of everything. Thank you so much for providing such a great rental for our family trip!
