THE ACCOMODATION
This lovely apartment is found on the ground floor. It has a twin bedded bedroom and two sofa beds in the living area.

As with all the apartments there is a stove, fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee maker,sufficient cutlery, pans, glasses, egg cups etc, a separate bathroom with shower and toilet and plenty of wardrobe space.Air condition is included in the price.

There is a balcony on which you can enjoy a glass of cool retsina after a hard day tanning, swimming and reading. You can then enjoy a comforting shower before strolling down to the village for a pre-dinner drink and then a well earned meal.

MORE ABOUT THE LOVELY VILLAGE ALMYRIDA

Almyrida is situated on the North coast of Western Crete. It lies to the east of Chania City, approximately 15 Km from the ferry port of Souda and about 25km from the airport. Nearby are the small towns of Kalyves and Vamos.

The beautiful city of Chania is a short drive away and to the East is the resort of Georgioupoli and a little further away is the ancient city of Rethymno and then the other major airport at Iraklio.

A very short distance away and the backdrop to Almyrida is the imposing range of the White Mountains with peaks in excess of 2,400 metres.

Armonia Apartments are found on a quiet lane a short distance away from the village centre and also a few minutes walk from the beach.

Within a few minutes you can be walking along quiet tracks surrounded by olive groves. Here you can enjoy the peace interrupted by bird song or the calls of the cicada. As you rise out of the village you will get lovely views of the harbour, the village and the surrounding area. During winter and spring you will be able to appreciate the colour contrast of the white snow on the mountains and the clear blue sky.
