About this property

Welcome to the Perch. The epitome of Birch Bay, WA beach living!

Wake up to 180° Birch Bay views, coffee on the covered deck, then unwind by the fire… indoors or out. Walk to the beach and settle into something special.

This is where mornings are slow, evenings glow under string lights, and everything you came for is right outside your door.

Step inside and you’re greeted by a light, open layout designed for both relaxing and gathering. The main living area flows seamlessly into a fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to cook, connect, or simply unwind.

Then there’s the real showstopper, where most guests spend their morning and nights… the covered deck.

Out here, you’ll find a spacious sectional, gas fire table, heat lamp, BBQ, and string lighting that sets the mood as the sun goes down, all overlooking Birch Bay. Whether it’s morning coffee, mid-day sunshine, or a glass of wine at sunset, this space becomes the heartbeat of your stay.

Inside, the home offers:

• A comfortable primary suite with expansive bay views, a walk-in closet, and a large tiled walk-in shower
• A second bedroom with a flexible twin-to-king setup
• A versatile flex room with a sleeper sofa, perfect for kids, extra guests, or movie nights
• A record player with a curated vinyl collection for slow mornings or relaxed evenings that bring you back to simpler times
• Smart TVs on each floor and fast WiFi for streaming or remote work

Layout + Comfort

The home includes a few stair transitions between levels, creating separation between living, sleeping, and flex spaces.

You’ll also find:

• A Speed Queen washer and dryer for convenience
• A dedicated workspace for remote work needs
• Central heat and AC to keep things comfortable year-round

Location

You’re just a short walk to public beach access and the boardwalk, making it easy to enjoy everything Birch Bay has to offer.

Spend your days exploring the shoreline, grabbing a treat at the C Shop, or simply soaking in the laid-back coastal lifestyle.

Outdoor Living

This is where the home really shines.

• Covered deck with panoramic bay views
• Fire table and heat lamp for year-round use
• Outdoor dining and BBQ
• Comfortable seating designed to linger

Good to Know

• Self check-in with keypad
• Free parking on-site
• Starter supply of essentials provided so you can settle in comfortably

The entire home is for your enjoyment except for the loft outside of the primary bedroom. This space is not finished and should be avoided. The owner closet is also locked.

We do our best to make ourselves available if something arises.

The beach front community of Birch Bay is a quaint community that is located north of Bellingham and south of the Canadian border that is bustling in the spring and summer months. It`s mix of full time and second homes makes it a unique blend for the area, and is world renowned for the crabbing and clam digging.

There are two parking spots on site and quite a few public spots down along Birch Bay Dr. Many people walk from place to place, but you`ll see many people on Bikes, driving, golf carts and just about everything you can imagine.

Three story home with primary on the upper floor and other two sleeping spaces are in the basement level.
We expect our guests to behave like grown-ups :)

-Please do not burn the house down.
-Please do be respectful of the neighbors, they live there full time.

Great house

We had a great time. Birch bay is nice but other than beach activities not much else to do. We had good food in all the restaurants. Definitely would recommend this property.

Sandra, we love that you loved the home. Birch bay is definitely all about the beach life! Not too far away are some amazing scenic hikes and mountain biking as well, but you nailed it that the bay is all beach life!

Birch Bay Aug 12-15

Really enjoyed this location and check in was very easy and communication with Sean was simple and response time was quick. Loved the turntable and the albums that we could listen to, that was a great touch. Loved the area and the town was great and spend an evening at the Beach Cat Brewing.
