Had a good time. Location is on a mountain, roads going up are not kept very well on the mountain. We didn't use the hot tub or fire pit, but everything we did use worked and was user friendly. (We had tried to community the prop managers before via email but never got a response.) No issues though with our stay.

You are misusing puncuation in your description to deceptively suggest that you provide lodging with stunning views, when in fact no rooms have a view because they are all blocked by the privately owned condos that actually do have a view. The bluff views are half blocked by commercial locations that actually have a views. My Bradley University Communications Professor taught me about "misleading" language. You are grossly overstating the existance of "stuning views" and this approach does not honor the midwestern values that make the Peoria area a great place to live, work, and play.We loved the place. You can walk to the bank of the Illinois River and see broods of ducks and geese and sand pipers. Next, enjoy stunning views from the grounds of this spawling Riverside complex. Watch boats at the marina come and go, as you stroll or sit along the pier at sunset, and the food at the "Storm Shelter" was outstanding. We also really enjoyed the extensive nautical themes including old steamer trunks and vintage photos of early Peoria regattas and all the carvings of bears etc... Jonas restaurant is decades long favorite and is located just above the public boat launch. I rate it 4 out of 5 stars. It would have been a 5 if I had just been told the wonderful truth of the incredible views that exist on the outside of the lodging, in fair English.
