A Lovely Spot

We had a wonderful stay at Suzana’s place. We felt immediately at home and it was very peaceful. The property was exactly as listed and close to all the outdoor activities in the area. Whale watching was the highlight!

House was great for our family’s needs (my wife and two kids, 3 and 5). Gas station/grocery store not too far away. A wonderful (and secluded) beach a few minutes drive away; lots of seashells for the kids, and gorgeous views. About a 10-15 minute drive away to a great lookout for whale watching. The town itself is quite small so as long as you are willing to drive for restaurants/activites, it’s a great launching pad for other activities in the area.

Comfortable sweet house near Tadoussac

This is an attractively renovated house that was well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out front in the sun. The surrounding countryside is stunning, and we had a short drive to Tadoussac. The staircase is a little steep, which could be a problem for some. The host communicated with nice suggestions, wanting to make sure we had a good time.

Pilot’s Haven - La Maison du Marin

Extremely comfortable and well appointed home in Grandes Bergeronnes. A short drive to Essipit (whale watching and interesting Archeology and Nature museum), Tadoussac and Les Escoumins. Excellent restaurant within walking distance. Hosts were very helpful with suggestions. If they wish to be bothered less by rent it’s, they could leave info for wifi etc in the house.

Annonce conforme à la réalité, des échanges faciles avec Suzana et Dominique, tout l’équipement nécessaire pour profiter du séjour, et rien à redire côté propreté . Seul bémol est la situation géographique qui nécessite impérativement un moyen de locomotion pour profiter des attraits (nombreux!) de la région. Une bonne adresse pour rayonner du Saguenay/ Tadoussac jusqu’au delà des Escoumins et profiter pleinement des baleines et autres mammifères marins !

Thank you very much Regis for your appreciation of our house! We do strive to provide a nice, clean, welcoming and fully appointed house and we are glad you enjoyed it. We were also happy to be of help in changing your booked dates and accommodate you in that regard. As for the location, a bus goes through once a day but most people drive the 300km from Quebec City, take a ferry over the breathtaking Saguenay river and then arrive at our tiny 600 souls village. Our house being strategically centered in between various attractions, we do agree you need transportation to explore all the possibilities of this beautiful area.
