When the guest initially reached out she stated that there were dead bugs in the rooms. I responded immediately and advised her I was on the way. I arrived 20 minutes later but she was gone. Her companion was there and I looked for the bugs. I saw 2 palmetto bugs In the den by the back door but couldn’t find any in the other rooms. We both looked and after not seeing any other ones he called her to find out about the other issues and she stated she was on her way back. I vacuumed them and talked with him for a few minutes waiting for her to return. I explained to him that I was leaving for a cruise the next morning. We then walked outside and she arrived approximately 5 minutes later. I waited for her to exit the vehicle to introduce myself and get to the matter at hand so I could leave the premises but she didn’t address me right away so I knew it was something. I told her I found bugs in the den but nowhere else and explained that they are a big issue in the summer so I would leave the vacuum available in case they needed to use it or they could contact me. I didn’t hear anything else until Saturday evening when I was on the boat and she then stated I had exploxives under the carport, an unclean refrigerator, and hair on the bathroom floors. There is a gas can under the carport with no gas in it at the request of a previous guest. I advised her to send photos of the floors and refrigerator but when I returned the following Sunday, I had not received anything.
