POND IN THE PINES CABIN -COMPLETELY RENOVATED ON 27 ACRES - POND-HOCKING HILLS

Nestled on 27 very private wooded acres with a one-acre pond and private walking trails, The Pond in the Pines Cabin is a nature lover's dream. Catch and release fish from our beautiful pond from the bank or use our small rowboat or paddle board. Guests assume all risk when exploring our property and pond. The star gazing is UNREAL with almost no artificial light! Within 15 to 20 minutes of Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, Lake Hope State Park and many other attractions including the haunted Moonville tunnel. The cabin has privacy and a central location to Hocking, Vinton and Athens County. Feeling like a glass of wine and some food? We are 2 miles from the Le Petit Chevalier Vinyards! Traveling with an infant/toddler? We provide a full-size portable crib! The great room has a 60-inch smart TV with HDMI Cord and a Nintendo Switch. We are one of the few cabins in the area that has great cell service and WIFI. If you are traveling with your well-behaved canine companion we provide bowls, an indoor bed and a cot on the deck. Dogs only please with a $50 fee per stay, with a 2 dog maximum.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Leave outdoor lights on
Turn A/C to 73 in warm weather and furnace to 64 in Cold weather
Text us upon departure
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No dogs on furniture or beds. If you leave, dog must be crated or with you. Please pick up and bag all pet waste
The old cabin by the pond is off limits. All outdoor activities done on property are done at the guests own risk
No shooting or hunting allowed. No fireworks permitted. Please look up Ohio law on open burning

My husband grew up in the Hocking Hills area and we always knew we wanted to eventually own a little slice of heaven there. The natural beauty of the area, along with the the incredible rock formations, caves and waterfalls is truly amazing. It is truly one of the most undisturbed areas in Ohio. When we found the right property, we had to take a leap of faith and buy it. We hope you love it as much as we do!

The privacy of this property is fantastic! Located on a dead end road with 27 wooded acres and a 1 acre pond. You can hike, fish or on a clear night see the Milky Way in all it's glory!
