Tammy was very attentive to accommodate our special needs son. Though the bunkhouse is not ADA compliant, her honesty was appreciated in figuring how we could make the facility work for us. Check-in was a breeze, even though we arrived later than expected. The bunkhouse was beautifully decorated and the views from the front porch were awesome. I can’t think of anything that could have been better. We will be returning when we can stay longer. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for seclusion and a quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Straight out of Heartland

My family loves the show Heartland and when I booked this place I wanted to give them the experience. We ended up staying extra days because it was fantastic and you couldn’t ask for better hosts. It is a drive from any of the local towns but so worth it. Soaking in the beauty of God’s country was breathtaking. I highly recommend it

Absolutely Incredible!

We can’t say enough good things about our time here! We spent hours hiking around the hills and exploring. We saw herds of elk, a bald eagle, golden eagles, peregrine falcons, and a black bear. We explored Glacier National Park and the flathead river. I can’t think of a better place to unwind. Tammy was super helpful and responsive to all our questions. I highly recommend buying steak and hamburger from the ranch. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. We loved it!

Wedding at Whiskey Trail Ranch

Me and my husband got married here May 3rd, 2025. I wouldn't have changed a thing! The views are breathtaking and more gorgeous than pictures can do justice. Tammy and Scott were so friendly, welcoming, and more than accommodating. They checked in on us several times throughout setting things up and were very helpful communicating the whole time. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's beautiful, peaceful, and perfect. We had enough space for parking, a place for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready in separately, and a place to set up a tent and ceremony chairs for 100 guests. The only recommendation i would make is to bring handheld radios for communication for a large event because the service is very spotty and hard to get calls through. The stairs in the back of the lower cabin are also coming a little loose, so beware that may be a tripping hazard. There are also some small bull snakes and Gardner snakes in the fields, but non venomous. This is a centerpiece for the pristine natural beauty of Montana and I would recommend staying here!
