Fully furnished apartment in CapCana, a beautiful private resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The apartment is on the ground level, Building 3 of the Aquamarina Condominium—pristine views of the turquoise ocean waters from the living and main bedroom. The best part is just footsteps away, walking directly from the covered terrace onto the pool and beach areas.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, desk/bench, cable TV, a large bathroom with a jet tub and shower, and a hairdryer. The guest bedroom has two queen-sized beds, a cable TV, a bathroom with a bathtub shower, and a hairdryer. The apartment also comes with private, fully furnished maid quarters.

Cable internet service is available in the apartment; the WiFi password is written on the router label.

The AquaMarina health club & spa, beauty salon, and fitness gym are two buildings down and next to the Concierge Reception desk. The gym facilities are private; you can use the gym paying a small daily cost.

CapCana is conveniently located 10 minutes away from the Punta Cana International Airport. CapCana boasts some of the most beautiful beaches with 5km of white sand and palm trees.

The condo is massive and right on the beach, but the resort feels very dated—probably amazing 20 years ago when everything was new. Most advertised amenities weren’t working: hot tubs were empty (one was filled with gravel), the swim-up bar abandoned, and you can’t have drinks by the pool or beach. Finding drinking water was even a challenge. The location is awkward—there’s no grocery store, convenience store, or coffee/tea nearby. Within walking distance, there are only two restaurants, a pizza place, and a liquor store; everything else requires a taxi.Inside, the beds were uncomfortable, sheets scratchy, and furniture worn. No washcloths, tissues, or extra blankets, and the kitchen was minimally equipped. We also had a ceiling leak in the main bathroom that was never resolved. Huge space with beach access, but be prepared for limited amenities, unusual rules, and outdated furnishings.

Perfect condo

Everything about this condo was perfect. It is very well maintained and equipped. The location could not be better, being literally steps from the pools and the ocean. It is has so much room, you never feel cramped or crowded. Thanks so much for letting us enjoy a week here with our teenage daughters.

I cannot say enough about how nice this place is. It is in a perfect location, and Tony is an amazing host. Any questions or concerns we had were always answered very quickly. The shuttle service was great and they stopped at the grocery store on the way to the condo. I wish I was still there!Thank you Tony! We will be back!

We were at first hesitant to not book an all inclusive resort for our 1 week Spring Break vacation with our 17,15, and 10 yr old, but we are are so happy we didn’t! This property is AMAZING!!! Tony the owner was very responsive and helpful along with the concierge staff. The condo was so clean and beautiful…even more beautiful than what the pictures show with an incredible view of the ocean from the back patio where we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening cocktail. The pools and beach were so BEAUTIFUL and never crowded. We also discovered so many amazing restaurants within walking distance or a short and inexpensive taxi ride away. Can’t say enough good things about this place! We have already recommended Tony’s place to others and can’t wait to return!

Comfortable and perfect location.

The condo was exactly as described and pictured. The location on the first level near the pools and beaches and further away from the noise of the very nice beachfront restaurant was perfect with a great view and a quiet and private ambience. It was very clean and the floor plan was outstanding, especially in having an ensuite bath in the guest room. Our host, Tony, was very friendly, attentive and helpful during our stay. The condo is older and could definitely use some updating, but was very comfortable and everything worked fine. Any small problems that we did have were quickly addressed by Tony. We loved the location and accommodation and, in fact, rebooked for next year before we departed, which is probably the best indicator of how much we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic condominium- great location

Beautiful condominium! The location was perfect! Tony was a great communicator. Walk right out to the beach from the back door of the condominium. The beds were very comfortable. Tony provided several bottles of drinking water in the refrigerator upon our arrival. The condo included plenty of towels and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Tony emailed a detailed list of information prior to our stay including taxi service, restaurant information, etc. I will definitely rent this unit again and I will recommend this condominium to family and friends.

Great place to stay!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed CapCana. The beaches were wonderful. The people were all very friendly and welcoming. This vacation home is beautiful and has great access to other resorts, food, and fun activities. This was our first time to the Dominican Republic. We loved it! CapCana exceeded all our expectations.

Beautiful!!

This condo is absolutely beautiful! I recommend renting a car so you can see the sights and do activities. The Caleton beach club is a must as well as Juanillo beach. The most beautiful beaches I have ever seen! It is very quiet and safe for families. Definitely not for those looking for the all inclusive environment!

Amazing ocean front Condo.

The best 4mo. vacation ever. Tony our host was amazing. He gave us a tour of Cap Cana. Showed us all around. The condo has everything you need. We had a few issues and Tony was on it and got it fixed. You have direct access to the pool And beach. We loved the first floor especially because we had dogs. The two pools are big and beautiful and then there’s the beach right there. Tony helped us arrange a trusted cleaning girl.

splendid vacation at AquaMarina Cap Cana

I would strongly suggest anybody to rent this condo. It is fantastic! The view from condo, condo itself, community where it is located, staff and EVERYTHING ELSE is amazing without one single doubt. My family is absolutely determined to come back in future. We (two adults and 6yrs old child) spent wonderful 8 nights in this place. An owner of this condo is an excellent person, and it was very easy to manage things with him. Tony, spot on and THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Beachfront Beauty

This apartment has the perfect location for a beach vacation. Its ground level patio looks out over the beach. There are many good restaurants within walking distance or short three dollar cab ride. The apartment is furnished with everything you need for your stay. But one of the best things is the extremely accommodating host, Tony. He was so helpful in answering all of our questions and even happened to be in the area and spent a good part of the day driving us around, showing us the Cap Cana area and helping us to secure a guest passes. Tony was a great communicator and gave us all the information we needed a head of our stay to make our travel day go smoothly. Any thing that came up during the stay he was readily available and returned messages quickly.

Relaxing and beautiful

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful property in Cap Cana! The condo is spacious, clean and well appointed. The Cap Cana staff keeps the entire property spotless and secure. Your location is perfect: close to the pool, beach, marina, restaurants, concierge, etc., so it was easy to get around with our three young children. We had dinner at each of the restaurants in the marina (as well as some gelato at the mini-market!) and both meals were excellent. We did rent a car so we could explore the area a bit more, and greatly appreciated the convenient parking. Tony was a pleasure to work with, and very accommodating considering we had a family emergency and changed our arrival date. I enjoyed the beautiful view from the apartment patio each morning with a cup of coffee and each evening with a glass of wine. I could never tire of that view!

Another amazing trip to Cap Cana!!!

I am a frequent traveler and this was my sixth trip to Cap Cana. I always stay in Aquamarina as the grounds are always beautifully maintained as well as the pools and most importantly the beach’s (water shoes recommended). Love that when I am on the beach I usually am there by myself. The area is extremely safe and all staff are so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for beauty and serenity this is the place (no crowds). There is a restaurant on the beach within walking distance called API’s. They have fantastic fresh snapper, great drinks and staff always so friendly. This unit was perfect location, view was amazing!!! The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable (very important). Tony was extremely accommodating and I will definitely stay here again next year! He can arrange service from airport and Anna his representative was there to meet us even though out flight was delayed and we arrived late. I do recommend you stop at the grocery store by the airport on the way. There is a smaller grocery store in Cap Cana called Las Canas that is a short $3 cab ride if you run out of supplies. It is $3 cab ride to anywhere in Cap Cana (Juanillo, Scapepark, Caleton Beach etc) so I never rent a car. The bait shop is within walking distance for water, ice, coffee etc. Thanks Tony, will be in touch soon!!!

Perfect Place To Stay In Cap Cana! Loved It! Paradise!

This condo was right on the beach with a beautiful view! The sunrises were simple breathtaking every morning. The pool was right outside the door with the beautiful private beach just steps away from the pool. This is a secure, private location in the Cap Cana Marina. The condo was spotless and very comfortable. It has a huge kitchen, lovely patio, is very well decorated! The owner Tony was very helpful and friendly and his driver Moises was awesome!!! We chartered a fishing boat right out of the marina. The restaurant on the beach is an easy walk and serves delicious food and drinks. The private pool and beach was not crowded at all , matter a fact we had the place to ourselves it seemed. Sure beats the crowded resorts. There is a public beach only 10 minutes away with a restaurant and beautiful water called Juanillo Beach. Food and service there are amazing as well. We did several excursions to other nearby islands called Catalina and Saona islands. For the best scuba and snorkeling we recommend Coral Point Diving in Bayahibe. I learned to scuba there and have taken 8 dives since. There snorkeling trips are fun as well. I highly recommend renting this condo in Cap Cana Marina. You will not be disappointed! It is located only 15 minutes from the airport and Tony can arrange to have you picked up from the airport if you would like. The Blue Mall and the local grocery store Nacional are a short 15 minute drive away. There are some incredible restaurants right across the marina in the fishing village. We also loved buying food and cooking it right there in the huge kitchen. This condo has all the things your need to make your own delicious food at home if you don't want to go out or you want to save money like us. This place has everything you need without the crowds of the resorts and is in a gated and secure location. The onsite concierge service at there 24 X 7 to assist with anything you need. We love this place and can not wait to return again soon!

Most incredible vacation ever!

From beginning to end, this has been the most incredible vacation. Tony is wonderful to work with, he answered all our questions quickly and thoroughly. He had a taxi waiting at the airport for us, and we made our first stop at the market on our way in. Try to plan out everything you want to get in advance, because extra trips to the market get expensive at $40 each way in a taxi. Food and alcohol add up very quickly here, so the more you can consume in, the cheaper you will make your stay. The property itself is absolutely stunning, and the condo is beautiful and well stocked with almost everything you need including thick beautiful towels. I don’t think you will find a better property anywhere on the island with a direct path to pool and beach, literally right out the patio door. This place is EXTREMEMLY secure. Absolutely NO vendors on the beach, and no one but guests and property owners allowed! We walked on the beach late into the night and every morning at dawn, and rarely saw a soul. This is an extremely private and quiet property. Do not look for any nightlife here. If you want safety, privacy and quiet, you can not beat this. We brought our two adult children and their significant others with us, and had an incredible time. My daughter got engaged on this trip and it was absolutely perfect. We did venture out to Punta Cana a couple times and Bavaro beach just because we have never been here, but after seeing the beaches of the all inclusive resorts, we were extrememly grateful for our choice! We had the pools and beaches all to ourselves. A few other couples and families, but very quiet! Word of advice, bring water shoes!!! Beaches are a beautiful soft white sand, but there is a ton of shells, and coral in it so it’s very painful to walk into the water without them. Shell hunting is a lot of fun, because there is an unlimited supply. The beach workers were wonderful and helped us find incredible shells! There is definitely a language barrier, but our iTranslate app and Dawin at the front desk were very helpful! The coffee shop and Lazy Lizard in Los Casas were wonderful, as well as Api and El Portico. Bring smaller bills with you because it’s hard to change large bills most places, and you’ll need it for cabs and tipping. Catalina Island snorkeling is a must do!!! Breathtaking! I can not wait to repeat this trip many many more times. Definitely the highlight of my life! Thank you Tony, we couldn’t have had a better time!

Great Vacation in the DR

We had a wonderful family vacation. The condo was a nice size for our family of 4, clean, organized and had everything we needed. The view and location was amazing with bright Ocean views from the condo. We really liked how close we were to the beach and pools. You can swim in the pool while viewing the ocean, hang out on the beach and go back and forth within a few steps. It was a really relaxed community and not busy. Tony was great to deal with providing pickup transportation from the airport, instructions and suggestions. Being our first time in the DR this was really helpful and removed a lot of the stress and anxiety. Taxis within Cap Cana were easy to utilize at a low cost however venturing around the local area outside Cap Cana can get expensive with Taxis. We will probably rent a vehicle for our next trip. Overall great trip, accommodations, and host in a beautiful location!

Relaxing vacation!

This was a great property! Steps away from the pool on ground floor and a few more steps to the beach with beautiful views. It was very quiet and private. As other reviews stated, a grocery store stop is very necessary. We had a hard time finding restaurants. Tony helped us with transportation to & from the airport, which was very nice. The property had everything we needed from soap to toilet paper - thank you!

We just returned home Saturday from 2 weeks in paradise. Cap Cana is absolutely wonderful. The condo we stay at was gorgeous, the weather, the people the food were excellent. Just a walk out the door and you were at the pool and ocean. The big decision of the day was, do we go to the pool or to the ocean, or both? Everyone was so kind and helpful, this is a great place for families, couples and friends. We will certainly return.
