It sleeps 10 with 3 full bathrooms and an outside shower. It is great for families and boaters. Play, fish, swim, and relax! Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please adjust the thermostat to 78 degrees when you leave during the "Air Conditioning Months" and to 68 degrees when you go during the "Heating Months".
Make sure all exterior doors are locked and windows closed
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Our biggest concern is that you NOT disturb our neighbors. Orange Beach by law bans the use of fireworks. NO FIREWORKS.
The noise after 10:00 rule is serious. If a neighbor calls to report you disturbing their peace after 10:00 pm there are serious $ consequences.
No wet bathing suits or towels thrown on carpet or furniture.

Great set-up for boating!

We had a great time during our stay. The house worked well for our group as we had plenty of room. We also enjoyed using the boat slip, and had plenty of room in the yard for our trailer. We look forward to a return trip in the future!

Fishing Fun Vacation

This was a March getaway from a northern Michigan winter with friends. The location was perfect. The house was perfect and really reminded us of the family home my husban grew up in. Very warm an comfortable.

Beautiful property and home!

We stayed at the home for a week and it was perfect for what we were looking for. The home is gorgeous and vintage 80’s, every kitchen appliance you could need is in the home, and there is an abundance of areas to relax and enjoy the property. The home is perfectly placed for privacy and convenience. Highly recommend!

We brought our parents with their adult children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The house was perfect for the accommodations needed with a beautiful doc and good fishing. Hi! Our family is so happy to share our families best kept secret—-Joe’s Joy. This house is the result of Joe’s (my father) dream! He grew up in Foley and my Mother, Joy, in Bay Minette. They met after WWII at Auburn and began a life that led them away from Baldwin County. My Father dreamed of the day he would return. He bought the land in the 1970s and then began drawing his plans. The he built his dream in 1982.

I spent time every summer in this coastal woods and so have our children and now grandchildren.

I can sit on the swings, close my eyes and hear all the giggling!!! So many good memories! And we invite you to make your own memories here.

Why they chose this property

This is Old Orange Beach. Across St. John’s Bay is Ono Island. Look west and you’ll see the Pass Bridge between Alabama and Florida. Across the from the drive on Canal Road you’ll find Beat Point Marina. This is a neighborhood. The house has full time residents all around. As you meet them you’ll find friendly faces.

What makes this property unique

The setting! As the driveway curves through the ancient woods, you know this is not a regular beach house! You are nestled under expansive live oak trees. It’s like being in a tree house. Also, the 150 foot private waterfront snd private pier. No loud music! No rude tourists! Peace and quiet watching the birds overhead. And be sure to look for old Icabod, a very old crane who comes every year. He’ll walk right up to you looking for a piece of bait shrimp. Come and enjoy!
