This country setting is the perfect place for weddings, family or group gatherings. Situated on eight acres you will have privacy and space for your family, pets, and vehicles!! Bbq or enjoy the firepit! 45 minutes from the St. Louis Arch ! We do have an events website too for planning all your celebrations. The World Shooting Complex is just 3 miles away.

For gatherings we rent out tables and chairs, glassware, silverware, plates and linens. You may bring in your own caterers. Events can be outdoor or indoor with our assistance.

We came to this area for my son's wedding. This was a wonderful pet-friendly home. The history in this house is amazing. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare a family meal. Jackie the Host was wonderful and was so very easy to get in touch with if we had questions. Any issue was quickly resolved. Hope to be able to stay in the fabulous home again when we are back in the area.

A very nice stay that supported a large family gathering! The bedrooms were so comfortable and quiet and our family spent the majority of our time in the kitchen and living room area. The kitchen is a chef’s dream and we had many memorable meals there!

Perfect place for our needs

The mansion was perfect for our family to get together for our daughter’s wedding! It was spacious, warm, well stocked. We could not have asked for anything more. The hostess is so nice and answers any questions one might have

Every Thanksgiving I take my mom from the Chicagoland area down to southern Illinois so we can spend it with my sister. We always do a VRBO because my sisters house is very small. This year I came upon this 1845 house that looked very intriguing. It was a little more than we wanted to spend but we did it anyways. Man am I happy we spent a little more money!!! Jackie could not of been a better host!!! In fact, out of all the VRBO's I have rented she has been by far the best!!! When we walked in the house it just felt very comfortable. She has the house decorated with a music theme which was awesome!! Then we noticed a Christmas tree had been put up, we walked by the dinning room and the dinning room was all set with plates, silverware and cloth napkins with a Thanksgiving themed table cloth. She went way out of her way to make us feel good and enjoy the holiday. She also had called us during our stay just to make sure everything was going well. Jackie, you are the best!!!!
