Adorable place. Dwelling felt new, fresh and super clean. Washer & dryer, outside fire-place, plenty of snow and great entertainment package kept kids occupied. Even in the middle of winter, cabin felt warm and cozy.
This was an awesome place to stay. It was just a couple minute ride to the chair lift for mountain biking. The space was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We would stay here again for sure and plan to in ski season.
We enjoyed our stay at this cozy, comfortable apartment that had everything we needed and more! Luke and Rachel were great and very accommodating. Would love to stay again next winter!
We had a great time staying at Cedar Chalet over the 4th of July weekend! Check in/check out was smooth and the property was beautiful and clean with great amenities. Luke and Rachel were responsive and helpful along the way
The apartment was clean beautiful and spacious! It is in the walk out daylight basement of the home but has a separate entry. We had everything we needed and it was very warm and comfortable. The host were super responsive and helpful! The location is a huge plus with the Silver Fir ski lift a few minutes walk down hill! We can’t wait to go back again!
We've spent 3 nights at Luke's and Rachel's place and enjoyed every minute of it. In particular the place was very tastefully decorated, clean, spacious, and the shuffleboard was something extra for kids to enjoy! Unfortunately the nearest lift was not operating, so we drove to parking lots next to main lifts, yet it was an amazing stay nonetheless.
You cannot beat this location for a true ski-in / ski-out spot at the pass. It's perfectly located next to Silver Fir (one of the best lifts). The home is brand new, well furnished and comfortable. The only item that wasn't clear in the listing was that the unit is below the main house, and requires you to walk down a somewhat steep stairway. Not an issue, just wasn't included in the listing.
Cedar Chalet is the perfect mountain retreat! With direct bike-in, bike-out access to stunning trails, we were able to jump right into our adventures each morning. The location offered gorgeous, serene views, and the fresh mountain air was unbeatable. The place itself is beautifully designed with warm cedar touches, spacious rooms, and all the comforts we needed after long days of exploring. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and adventurous summer getaway!
If we hadn't known that this property already had reviews, we would have thought we were the first guests. It was immaculate. All the appliances seemed brand new. Fully stocked kitchen. Great location in a safe cul-de-sac. Short 1 minute bike ride to the mountain where we picked up the shuttle for a 25 mile mountain bike (mostly downhill). Highly recommend. Also we loved all the games.
Cozy and Clean Stay with Minor Listing Clarifications Needed
We had a lovely stay at this property with our family, and the host was very accommodating, even allowing us to bring an extra child. The space was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, making it a pleasant place to stay. We’d happily return for another visit! The listing does clearly mention that this is a mother-in-law suite, and the photos show the pathway to the unit behind the main house. However, it could be helpful to emphasize that this is a basement unit for those who might not read the details closely.Regarding parking, while the listing states that parking is available, it’s worth noting that this applies to just one car or maybe 2 small vehicles. We had a second car, which required parking 5 minutes away at a cost of 55 per day. It would be great if the listing clarified this to avoid surprises.Overall, it was a great experience, and with these small updates to the listing, it would make the stay even better for future guests.
We had the best stay at Cedar Chalet. I visited with my husband and young kids. The home is beautiful, clean and well equipped. We were there during a big snow storm and Luke was so accommodating, helping us out with a few items we didn’t bring! The home is convenient to the mountain, skiing, restaurants. Highly recommend!
