We had a great stay at vineyard, plenty of room for our group of ten. Pool was great although the weather was not favorable. Still got in and had great time. Loved shortcut to winery. Would love to come back on sunny week to enjoy all of this beautiful property.

Another wonderful stay!

This was our second time at the farmhouse and it was another relaxing, wonderful stay. Spent every day at the pool and watched incredible sunsets very the vineyard from the Adirondack chairs in the evening. Our dog even got to enjoy some play dates with farm dogs. We hope to come back next summer!

We loved our stay in Afton. The house fit 10 of us easily, and the kitchen was large and well equipped for preparing family meals. There was a nice large dining room as well. The pool was lovely, and the views were unparalleled. Susan was an excellent host and very responsive to our needs. It was great to be able to have our dog at the house as well. We hope to stay again some time!

Another fabulous stay!

Great fun at our girl's trip to the Farmhouse at Cardinal Point! The home is beautiful, well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The pool was a huge hit! Highly recommend the property and the great owners! We can't wait to go back for our 4th stay!

Cute and cozy

This is definitely an older house but suited our needs just fine. It's such a cute and cozy place with plenty of parking when you have several couples meeting up. It's also a great location for exploring the mountain, breweries and wineries in the areas. The owner is very responsive and very nice!

Beautiful home for a family weekend.

Our extended family gathered at the farmhouse to meet our newest member. The house is perfect for a gathering. The kitchen is well appointed and easy to work in (we do a lot of cooking). It’s spacious enough to eat inside but the weather was beautiful and the view can’t be beat. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious (plenty of room for a pack-n-play). We have stayed her before and will definitely return.

WONDERFUL bachelorette getaway!

My friends and I had the BEST weekend staying at this lovely farmhouse. I couldn't have asked for a better bachelorette celebration! The pool is wonderful, and the view is just spectacular. I highly recommend renting a bus/van to explore all the wineries nearby! And, of course, don't forget to stop by Cardinal Point for some excellent wine. Can't wait to go back! :)

Spring and Fall

We gather with friends every spring and fall at the farmhouse and we always have a wonderful time. The house fits our group perfectly and we love coming back each time. We always get a happy visit from Tenny the dog and Susan takes wonderful care of us. The sunset view is spectacular!

Such a Gorgeous View

The house was perfect for our group of 4 couples. It had everything we needed, and the location at Cardinal Point Winery is amazing. I expected the view to be good, but it was much better than advertised. You really feel like you are away from it all, even though there is a full winery, and the rest of Route 151 very close. We will be staying again next year.

Girls wine trip

The house was great. There are plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Cooking in the kitchen is a breeze as they have all the pots, pans, and cooking utensils supplied making it very easy. Going to the winery on site is makes it safe and fun to enjoy the local wine. I highly recommend and look forward to booking for another weekend!

Location, location, location!

Needless to say, the Mountain View’s are breathtaking! The location is beautiful, private, and refreshing! The home served as a gathering place with plenty of room for indoor/outdoor activities! Being able to jump in the pool to cool off and then running off to play outdoor games…perfect! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy our Virginia experience!

If we could give more than five stars we would. Perfect farmhouse with tons of personality in a picturesque setting on a working vineyard in the Virginia mountains. Big, well-equipped kitchen and lots of living space. Great communications with the host, easy check-in and check-out, and though limited by Social Distance constraints we still had great conversations with the friendly folks at the winery. We departed trying to figure out how soon we could get back.

Can’t wait to return!

My husband and I and our two dogs had an amazing quick trip to the farmhouse and loved it so much we plan to make an annual trip. The pool was incredible and we used it every day. The views with the vineyard are beyond amazing. I couldn’t get over how gorgeous it was. I am a sucker for a farmhouse and fell in love with this house and the property. Tenny, the farm dog, came over and our dogs enjoyed playing with him. My only regret is we couldn’t stay longer. We also enjoyed wine and live music at their winery which was so much fun.we can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful Weekend

My family and I loved our time staying at the Farm House. It's a beautiful property, especially sitting in the backyard at sunset. The house was built in the late 19th century, but it so cozy and comfortable. The heating, air, plumbing, etc all worked great. One side note, there are only small travel size shampoo/conditioner/soaps, so be sure to bring your own if needed. Easy driving distances to many wineries and restaurants in Charlottesville. This is a great option for anyone looking for a weekend getaway in the country with close access to nearby towns and amenities. Would love to come back again!
