Perfect stay

We could not have chosen a more cleaner or nicer place to stay. Everything we wanted to do such as shopping, and dinner was in close proximity. I will definitely recommend and book another stay. The hospitality was amazing.

Quick trip to Birmingham

We really enjoyed our stay, the house is in an established older neighborhood and right across from a church. Easy access to restaurants and local facilities. Great kitchen appliances and outdoor Grill helped us maximize her time as we stated this location.

Hidden Gem and Gracious Host

This property was absolutely beautifully decorated and very well taken care of. The host quickly responded to all my questions, as this was my first time renting. She was friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this property.

A decent house in a rough neighborhood

Driving to the house we noticed it was in a rough part of town. Once we arrived the check in was easy. Initially walking through the house we noticed it was pretty clean but it does have a lot of air fresheners and if you are sensitive to fragrance that may be overwhelming. We found a large buck knife on one of the beds which was interesting. I notified the host immediately. Then my child found a bullet hole in the front bedroom window and we followed the path of the bullet through a door and a wall and out into the living room. I notified the host immediately but got no reply for 5 hours. The next morning we found two more bullet holes in the side of the house. I will not be staying here with my family again because we did not feel safe. The pictures make the house look nicer than the neighborhood makes it seem. I hate leaving negative reviews but it honestly needs to be said so you know what you’re getting.

Lovely Refurbished House

Myself, my college friend and my 14 year old son were in town for a CF Bowl Game. 3 night stay at this VRBO in late Dec 2024.The exterior and interior of the house are very nice. The interior, especially, is very warm and inviting. The 3 bedrooms are very spacious and the beds are nice. 2 of the beds were a little firm for our taste, but some might prefer that type of bedding. All the various amenities within the kitchen and throughout the house were everything we needed. We especially liked the large TVs throughout to catch up on football for our long weekend stay.The owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had prior to our stay, during and after. We really had zero issues throughout our stay.One gotcha....we failed to see the menu for the items in the fridge, so be careful with those. It was very nice to have them available, but we failed to see the pricing and how to pay. We received a bill afterwards. Our fault.Last thing...the surrounding neighborhood wasn't the best, but we knew this going in. There are empty lots on either side of the house and it is across the street from a large church. Not having other houses right on top of us and the beautiful interior is what made me choose the house out of others with similar size and price range.
